Brand matchup
EcoFlow vs BLUETTI
The measured comparison: 202 model-vs-model head-to-heads, 21 EcoFlow and 27 BLUETTI models in the current catalog, and 53 days of twice-daily price captures.
What each brand is known for
EcoFlow turned recharge time into the headline spec: most of its line refills from a wall socket in about an hour, and the catalog stretches from a 230 Wh RIVER to a 12.3 kWh DELTA Pro Ultra, 21 current models with a UPS mode on 100% of them. It reprices in small, frequent steps rather than big sales, so the median unit spent 1% of our capture window under its typical price.
BLUETTI built its reputation on the big box in the garage: LFP cells before they were standard, batteries that stack (its systems reach 39.7 kWh), and a catalog that now runs 27 current models, from a 128 Wh pocket unit to 5.1 kWh in a single chassis. The newer Elite 200 V2 and Elite 300 carry 6,000-cycle ratings, and the brand sells on events rather than drift: prices hold, then a sale cuts deep.

Every point is derived from the numbers on this page as of Sep 8, 2026 and scoped to the sizes where it holds; a lead needs at least two models on each side and a gap of 5% or more. When the catalog, the prices or the reviews move, the points move with them. A trade-off is where the data runs against the brand, not a defect report; the linked section carries the context.

Who wins where, criterion by criterion
A brand is not one product, so the question is not which brand wins but where. Each cell is the median of every current model that brand sells in that capacity band, on the typical price, the price each unit sat at most often in the last 90 days, rather than the weekend promotion. A leader needs at least two models on each side and a gap of 5% or more; anything closer is called even.

- EcoFlowSolar input
“So many reviewers echo the features the manufacture posts so they sound more like salesmen instead of real informative reviews but not the Professor and I thank you. I had this one in my cart all morning and I'm removing it now. As for the solar input I have two strings of about 2500 watts each at around 125 volts that I use to charge two Delta Pro so the 1600 watt limit would work out for me since I already have the setup for it but the proprietary ports don't make sense in 2025.”
- EcoFlowDurability and failures
“I bought a Delta Pro Oct 2023 it died June 2024. Support was good. It took 2.5 weeks to get a refurb.”
- EcoFlowCapacity and runtime
“As for the UPS comment, anyone who's ever worked IT knows a UPS provides consistent, CLEAN power to the load to guarantee it stays up, regardless of what happens at the wall. Surges, power dips, voltage drops, frequency modulation, doesn't matter. For the same reason all these power lifting modes don't work with computers, ups's are supposed to validate incoming voltage. Ecoflow confirmed their low voltage cutoff is 70v. Most electronics are shutting off or getting damaged below 90-95v, so the grid can provide a solid 75v for 20 minutes and the power station will pass through all that dirty power. Or hell, none check for frequency modulation. it will happily put through a 61hz sine wave. I use my power station as an extended runtime for my ups, not in replacement. My lead acid ups has about 8 minutes of runtime on my desktop. The delta 2 max the ups is plugged into ups that to 4 hours.”Show the full comment
- BLUETTIPrice and value
“The market really has gotten so competitive lately, I'm personally a big fan of the half priced refurbished stuff on Ebay sold directly by Ecoflow, Bluetti and Anker with full warranty. Typically units that were under 6 months old with little to use on them and 50-60% under MSRP. Bought a Delta 2 and an AC180 recently for under $700 out the door and couldn't be happier.”
- BLUETTISolar input
“I had the Bluetti EB55 for a year, was a poor power station, loud fan noise even when low wattage input, never charged above 99watts even though I have 175w solar panel, finally got rid of it and swapped for Ecoflow River 2 max. Its perfect, instantly hit 174w on the sun, fan noise is 2 - 3x less and doesn't turn on all the time, only when excess watts and high temps.”
@truesight91 · on the EB55 · 8 likesYouTube ↗ - BLUETTISolar input
“Overpanneling should not be a problem as long as it's within voltage limits. I have a Bluetti Elite 30v2 with a Renogy e.flex 200w which is over 10 amps max power output that the Bluetti does and it bumps up against the 10 amps that the Bluetti will take and that's it. The mppt controller won't take anymore than it's max amps even though the panel does more. You could have a nuclear reactor on there and it's not going to pull more than it can take as long as it's within the voltage limit. Even if the MPPT for some reason fails. The BMS will kill any over charge.”

From the test desk
“Same $209, same warranty, same 30dB noise floor — but at that identical price, capacity and speed go to the Elite 30 V2 while weather resistance goes to the RIVER 3, which carries an IP54 rating the Elite 30 simply doesn't have.”
“Two hundred ten dollars buys exactly double the capacity — 1,024 extra watt-hours at 21 cents apiece — which is why the AC200L clears an 8-hour blackout the DELTA 3 Plus can't.”
“Near-identical 288Wh twins, but the Elite 30 V2 is $70 cheaper with a higher surge — the RIVER 3 Plus charges $70 more for one thing the BLUETTI can't do: grow past 288Wh.”
“The Elite 200 V2 costs $350 more and then spends the next several years earning it back: exactly twice the cycle life, roughly double the capacity, seven cents a kilowatt-hour instead of eighteen.”
“Same-size battery, half the rated lifespan, and $498 more — the DELTA 2 Max has to justify its price on surge, charging, and an expansion port, because the cheaper Elite 200 V2 wins everywhere those three don't apply.”
“$100 more money buys 966Wh more battery and 2,000 more charge cycles, which is why the Elite 300 costs half as much per lifetime kWh to own — $0.06 against the DELTA 3 Max Plus's $0.12 — even though it's the pricier unit on the shelf.”

EcoFlow$0.30 per Wh added · base $0.68
BLUETTI$0.34 per Wh added · base $0.61
Good to knowOn both sides an expansion watt-hour costs well under a base watt-hour, because the base unit is where the inverter and electronics live. Only packs our catalog prices as SKUs are counted.

Retired this year, and what replaces it
Models that left each brand’s own store this year, and what we link instead. We verify a retirement on the maker’s storefront, never on a retailer’s stock page, and every retirement below has a named successor. We do not print release dates, because merchant timestamps reset when a store is rebuilt and are not a record of when a product shipped.
EcoFlow retired 3 models this year: the DELTA 3 1000 Air (successor DELTA 3 Classic), the RIVER 3 MAX PLUS (successor RIVER 2 Pro) and the RIVER 3 MAX PLUS WIRELESS (successor DELTA 3 Classic).

Retired

Successor
DELTA 3 1000 Air → DELTA 3 Classic
EcoFlow has discontinued the DELTA 3 1000 Air — it has left EcoFlow's own store and our price tracking, though remaining retailer stock may linger. Our recommended replacement is the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic: the same 1kWh class, with an 1,800W inverter to the Air's 500W.

Retired

Successor
RIVER 3 MAX PLUS → RIVER 2 Pro
EcoFlow no longer sells the RIVER 3 Max Plus. At this size the closest unit EcoFlow still sells is the RIVER 2 Pro — 768Wh with a stronger 800W inverter, typically for less money. If you'd rather step up in capacity, the DELTA 3 Classic (1,024Wh, 1,800W) is the move.

Retired

Successor
RIVER 3 MAX PLUS WIRELESS → DELTA 3 Classic
EcoFlow has discontinued the RIVER 3 Max Plus Wireless. Our recommended replacement is the DELTA 3 Classic — the same 1kWh-class capacity with a 1,800W inverter to this unit's 600W, usually for less money. You do give up the built-in wireless charging pad.
BLUETTI retired nothing in our tracking window; its lineup churn shows up as new releases rather than removals.
- No retirements recorded.

13 · FAQ
EcoFlow or BLUETTI: the questions people ask
Is EcoFlow better than BLUETTI?
Not as a brand. Of the 202 model-vs-model head-to-heads we have written, EcoFlow wins 122 and BLUETTI wins 76; EcoFlow leads between 1 and 2 kWh and above 5 kWh. Pick the capacity first, then the pair.
Which brand is more reliable, EcoFlow or BLUETTI?
We cannot measure failure rates. What we can measure: LFP share (100% against 96%), median rated cycles (3,000 against 3,500) and median warranty (5 against 5 years). Owner reports on durability and support are tallied in the Voices section.
Can I use BLUETTI expansion batteries with EcoFlow, or the other way round?
No. Expansion batteries are proprietary on both sides, which is why the first purchase decides the second. The ecosystem table quotes the cost per added watt-hour where our catalog prices the packs.
Which is cheaper per watt-hour, EcoFlow or BLUETTI?
On today's typical prices the medians are $0.56 for EcoFlow and $0.58 for BLUETTI across the whole catalog, so EcoFlow is cheaper overall.
Which brand discounts more often?
BLUETTI: 20 EcoFlow price drops against 41 for BLUETTI over the same 53 days. The deepest cuts were the RIVER 3 MAX at 27.3% and the AC50B at 30.1% under typical price.
Which has the better UPS mode?
EcoFlow lists a UPS mode on 100% of current units, BLUETTI on 96%. The ecosystem table counts how many on each side are rated at 10 ms or faster; a listed figure is a spec, not a test.
Are EcoFlow and BLUETTI the same company?
No. EcoFlow Technology was founded in Shenzhen in 2017 by former DJI battery engineers. BLUETTI is the power-station brand of Shenzhen-based PowerOak.
How these numbers were made
Instruments were computed on 2026-09-08 from the 23 EcoFlow and 45 BLUETTI listings in our catalog, excluding retired units and counting each stack configuration once. Prices are the typical prices from our price tracking (23,158 captures, 2026-07-17 to 2026-09-07), not spot or list prices. The head-to-head record counts only published head-to-heads between the two brands; pairs involving a retired unit are excluded from the live tally. Bench verdicts use the same PowerScore benches as our buying guides, ranked over the two brands’ current units only. Release dates are held back on purpose.
