    The market really has gotten so competitive lately, I'm personally a big fan of the half priced refurbished stuff on Ebay sold directly by Ecoflow, Bluetti and Anker with full warranty. Typically units that were under 6 months old with little to use on them and 50-60% under MSRP. Bought a Delta 2 and an AC180 recently for under $700 out the door and couldn't be happier.

    I had the Bluetti EB55 for a year, was a poor power station, loud fan noise even when low wattage input, never charged above 99watts even though I have 175w solar panel, finally got rid of it and swapped for Ecoflow River 2 max. Its perfect, instantly hit 174w on the sun, fan noise is 2 - 3x less and doesn't turn on all the time, only when excess watts and high temps.

    Overpanneling should not be a problem as long as it's within voltage limits. I have a Bluetti Elite 30v2 with a Renogy e.flex 200w which is over 10 amps max power output that the Bluetti does and it bumps up against the 10 amps that the Bluetti will take and that's it. The mppt controller won't take anymore than it's max amps even though the panel does more. You could have a nuclear reactor on there and it's not going to pull more than it can take as long as it's within the voltage limit. Even if the MPPT for some reason fails. The BMS will kill any over charge.

  • The Bluetti is huge and heavy about 7-8 pounds heavier than the C1000 - how is that not a factor? Also, Anker C1000 is currently on sale for $429. I've been seeing low prices on Anker for months. Good info on capacity and fan speed - but portability is a huge factor. My $.02.

  • I don’t understand the hate for Bluetti? Bluetti is a better solar/battery system than the anker solix f3800 that thing is junk for a home setup. The Bluetti Ac300 your showing is also ancient compared to the Solix F3800. Sure, the Solix has more output but for a home solar/charger setup it’s horrible.

Retired this year, and what replaces it

Models that left each brand’s own store this year, and what we link instead.
