Panels wired in series to land between 80 V and 500 V (one alone won't start it), through its MC4 inputs (2), up to 10000 W. 30 of the 39 panels we track work with it; 1 EcoFlow panel plugs straight in, the rest need an adapter cable. What's the difference between the EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra and the DELTA Pro Ultra X?
The X is bigger on every power spec: 12,288Wh against 6,144Wh, 12,000W continuous against 7,200W, and 45,000W of surge against 10,800W. The Pro Ultra keeps the 10-year warranty (the X has 5), the no-break UPS classification (the X is rated no worse than 10ms), and an RV 30A outlet the X's record doesn't list. The X costs $7,999 against the Pro Ultra's $4,199.
Is the DELTA Pro Ultra X worth the extra money?
Only if your house needs more than 7,200W at once or several days of reserve. Per lifetime kilowatt-hour the two land within a cent, but that only matters if you cycle the battery daily for years. For backup duty you're paying $3,800 for the bigger inverter and twice the battery, and giving up five years of warranty.
Why does the DELTA Pro Ultra X have a shorter warranty than the Pro Ultra?
Nothing in our research explains it; our record simply carries 10 years for the Pro Ultra and 5 for the X. The practical effect is that the dearer system comes with half the cover. For a home that cycles it daily, the X's term ends about halfway through the 9.6 years it takes to use 3,500 cycles at one a day.
Do the DELTA Pro Ultra + 1 Battery and DELTA Pro Ultra X have the same capacity?
Yes — both are 12,288Wh at this configuration, which is exactly why every scenario we model comes out tied. The difference between them isn't storage, it's how fast each one delivers and refills that storage.

Why does the DELTA Pro Ultra X cost $2,000 more?
Surge and continuous output. The Ultra X delivers 12,000W continuous and surges to 45,000W, against 7,200W and 10,800W for the Ultra + 1 Battery. If your home has a load large enough to need that — a big central AC or a well pump — the cheaper unit isn't an option at any price. It just can't do the job.
