What's the real difference between the DELTA 3 Max and DELTA 3 Plus?
Capacity is exactly double on the Max, 2,048Wh against 1,024Wh, for just $180 more. Output and surge scale with it (2,400W/4,800W against 1,800W/3,600W), and the Max weighs 23.7 lbs more. Cycle life, warranty, solar input, and the on-paper noise rating are identical.
EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max or DELTA 3 Max Plus — which should I buy?
The DELTA 3 Max for most buyers. The two are identical in capacity (2,048Wh), weight, cycles, rated UPS speed and noise rating, and both expand — the Max Plus only adds 600W of output (3,000W vs 2,400W), 1,200W of surge and double the solar input (1,000W vs 500W) for $300 more. Buy the Max Plus only if you'll run appliances between 2,400W and 3,000W or charge from more than 500W of panel; otherwise the Max is the same battery for $300 less and cheaper to own.
Will the DELTA 3 Max run my appliances?
For most, yes — its 2,400W continuous output and 4,800W surge handle a fridge, CPAP, electronics, power tools, and single appliances with room to spare. Where it falls short is sustained loads above 2,400W: a large microwave, a big space heater, or several big appliances at once. If that's your use, step up to the Max Plus's 3,000W; if not, the Max is plenty.
EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max vs DELTA 3 Max — which should I buy?
The DELTA 3 Max, decisively.
