Is the EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 worth the extra money over the Anker SOLIX F3800 Plus?
For most households, yes. The $199 premium buys 256Wh more per charge and 1,000 more rated cycles, which work out to 16,384 kWh of lifetime throughput against 11,520, or $0.17 per lifetime kWh against $0.23. The exception is anyone with a load past 4,000W continuous or a solar array past 2,600W: the Anker handles both and costs less.
Which lasts longer, the DELTA Pro 3 or the F3800 Plus?
The DELTA Pro 3. It's rated for 4,000 cycles against 3,000 on a bigger battery, which works out to a rated 11 years of daily cycling against 8.2. Both carry a 5-year warranty, so the difference shows up after the paperwork runs out, not before.
Which is quieter, the DELTA Pro 3 or the Anker F3800 Plus?
The spec sheets can't settle it. EcoFlow publishes a 30dB figure for the DELTA Pro 3; Anker publishes none for the F3800 PLUS. Reviewers describe the Anker's fans as barely audible under household loads and loud only above 4,000W or at max-speed charging [B10][B12], and the first of those is load the EcoFlow can't run at all. Treat the EcoFlow number as a spec-sheet claim, not a measurement.
Which recharges faster from solar, the DELTA Pro 3 or the F3800 Plus?
The Anker, if you own the panels to feed it. It accepts 3,200W into 3,840Wh, about 1.2 hours from empty at full rated input, against the EcoFlow's 2,600W into 4,096Wh, about 1.6 hours. With less than 2,600W of panels, both take everything the array produces and the difference disappears.
Which is cheaper, the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max or the DELTA Pro 3?
The DELTA 3 Max, by $1,900 — $899 against the DELTA Pro 3's $2,799. It's also the cheaper unit to own long-term, at $0.10 per lifetime kWh against the Pro 3's $0.15.
