I took the DELTA 3 Plus to Yosemite
It rode along on my camping trip and turned into the campsite outlet: my phone and cameras topped up on the picnic table by day, the gimbal charging on its lid, the lantern running off it after dark, and the air mattress inflated without me going red in the face. Every photo here is mine, from the trip in September 2025. EcoFlow sent me the unit; the trip, the pictures and the opinions are mine, and nobody paid for any of it.

What's the real difference between the DELTA 3 Max and DELTA 3 Plus?
Capacity is exactly double on the Max, 2,048Wh against 1,024Wh, for just $180 more. Output and surge scale with it (2,400W/4,800W against 1,800W/3,600W), and the Max weighs 23.7 lbs more. Cycle life, warranty, solar input, and the on-paper noise rating are identical.
Is the DELTA 3 Plus's fan noise actually a problem?
Reviewers say yes in practice, even though it shares the Max's 30dB rating on paper — the fans reportedly activate at low loads and cycle erratically [B1][B2]. It's described as likely fixable with a firmware update EcoFlow has issued for other units before [B4], but it's a real gap between the spec and the experience today.
Can the DELTA 3 Plus run a window AC?
It's right at the edge. Its 1,800W continuous rating leaves little to no headroom for a demanding single appliance, while the Max's 2,400W handles the same load with real margin. If a window AC or space heater is part of the plan, size up to the Max.
Is the DELTA 3 Max Plus worth $480 more than the DELTA 3 Plus?
For most buyers, yes. The $480 doubles the capacity to 2,048Wh, raises continuous output to 3,000W, and lowers the cost per lifetime kWh to $0.15 from $0.18.
