In December the sun gives my cabin a short day. Whatever I'm charging has to fill inside that window or wait for tomorrow. That's where these two EcoFlows stop being the same machine.
On the spec sheet they mostly are. Both hold 1,024Wh, both run an 1,800W inverter, and both packs are rated for 4,000 cycles, one cycle being a full drain and refill. The weight and the five-year warranty match too. The DELTA 3 costs $629 and the Plus $719.
The Plus takes 1,000W of solar to the DELTA 3's 500W. With enough panel in strong sun, that refills an empty pack in about an hour instead of about two, before losses. Its USB-C port also charges a big laptop faster. If you'd use neither, the DELTA 3 does the same job for $90 less.
