The only reason to consider the DELTA 2 Max is if it's deeply discounted below the DELTA 3 Max.
Why is the DELTA 2 Max so much more expensive?
It's the older generation at a high list price. At $1,599 it costs double the newer DELTA 3 Max, which matches its capacity, output, and surge for $899 — and beats it on cycles and UPS speed. In practice the DELTA 2 Max often sells for less on the street, but at listed prices the DELTA 3 Max dominates.

Choose the DELTA 2 Max if its 11.7-lb-lighter weight, stronger 4,800W surge, or better app is worth nearly $400 to you. The AC200L's main flaw is Bluetooth-only connectivity; its hardware is strong.
Is the DELTA 2 Max worth nearly $400 more than the AC200L?
Only for specific needs. Both share the same capacity, output, and cycle life, so the DELTA's $150 premium buys three things: 11.7 lb less weight, a 4,800W surge (vs 3,600), and a much better app. If you lift the unit, start hard motors, or want remote monitoring, those may justify it; otherwise the AC200L delivers the same core unit for far less.
