Set the DELTA 3 Classic beside the DELTA 3 Plus and it reads like the Plus with a few parts taken out. The battery stayed: 1,024Wh in both. So did the 1,800W inverter, the surge rating and the weight, give or take a third of a pound. The Classic costs $499 and the Plus $719.
What came out is a short list. The Classic takes 500W of solar to the Plus's 1,000W. It can't take an EcoFlow expansion battery, so the capacity you buy is the capacity you keep. It has no 12V car socket, fewer AC outlets and a lower cycle rating. A cycle is one full drain and refill.
I run my cabin in Truckee on solar, so the first cut is the one I'd feel. Most people charge from a wall, though, and one reviewer filled the Classic from an outlet in just under an hourA1.
