“BUYER BERWARE!!!! I have one of these, paid $2,700. Troubles from day one!! Would shut itself off everynight. house would lose power. I would have to manually reset the unit. Took 2 weeks to get a update firmware which seemed to fix one problem and caused another. 2 weeks later the unit stopped working. Got Error F1. Trying to get Jackery to warranty/refund this unit that is less than 3 month old is like pulling teeth!! AVOID!!”

“I have the Jackery 2000 Plus 24kW full expansion setup. Part of the reason i chose this is the redundancy for solar inputs which is critical in a grid down situation when spare parts are no longer available. This is something i have NEVER seen anyone talk about with this unit. Jackery does not advertise that you can do this, and after many conversations with them i don't even think they know you can do this ( they never seem to really understand their products) The Main 2000 plus unit allows 1200 watts through 2 DC inputs. Each expansion battery allows 1200 watts through 2 DC inputs but the key here is that no one has ever talked about (that i can find anywhere on the web) is that you can charge from any input while its all up and running. You don't have to just charge the expansion batteries from solar separately, which would require powering it all down to swap the expansion batteries in and out. When everything is all connected It back feeds throughout the system. I can plug directly into my expansion batteries with the solar input even with nothing feeding into the main 2000 plus unit, and it charges EVERYTHING, all the batteries, the main units. not JUST whatever battery you are plugged into! I'm currently putting 4800 Watts into mine over 8 DC ports. 2 Jackery adapters with 600 watts each plugged into the main unit so 1200 watts total, Then 2 more adapters with 600 watts plugged into battery 1, Then 2 more adapters with 600 watts each on Battery 3 etc... The genius of this for prep is that each has their own controller so if something happens to the MPPT on any one of the components you just move your solar input to a different battery port and it keeps charging the whole system! Theoretically you could adapt 14,400 watts of solar input across all the inputs, I've been doing it with 4800 watts like this daily for over a year with no issues. So if there is a long term grid down situation and spare parts are not available you have 24 inputs at your disposal to keep the system functioning and charging vs 2 inputs on most systems and if those fail you get no more solar charging. I wish i were savvy enough to make a video showing all of this for everyone this because its the hidden Gem no one seems to know about!”Show the full comment

Retired this year, and what replaces it
Models that left each brand’s own store this year, and what we link instead.
