Is the Anker SOLIX E10 worth $1,700 more than the BLUETTI Apex 300 + B300K?
Only if you're buying the inverter rather than the battery. The gap buys 522Wh of extra usable capacity, 5,222Wh against 4,700Wh, which works out to $3.26 per additional watt-hour when the Apex charges $0.47 a watt-hour for its whole pack (2,599 over 5,529.6). What the money actually buys is 7,680W of continuous output against 3,840W and a 9,000W solar input ceiling against 2,400W. Wiring into a service panel, that's the entire point. Plugging things in, it's dead weight.
Which one lasts longer, the SOLIX E10 or the Apex 300 + B300K?
The E10, on both measures. It's rated for 4,000 cycles against 3,500, and its larger pack turns those into 24,576 lifetime kWh (6,144Wh x 4,000) against 19,354 (5,529.6Wh x 3,500). At one full cycle a day that's roughly 11 years against 9.6. Both carry five-year warranties, so on paper the coverage expires long before either battery does.
Is the Anker SOLIX E10 or F3800 Plus better for whole-home backup?
The E10 is purpose-built for it. It wires into your breaker panel, backs up the building, and switches over so fast that reviewers didn't notice outages had happened [A4]. The F3800 Plus can do whole-home too, but only when connected to a whole-home setup [B3]; on its own it's a standalone box with outlets. If a permanent wired install is the goal, the E10 is the cleaner answer.
Is the Anker SOLIX E10 portable?
No. It's a hardwired whole-home system that installs at your electrical panel, and at 190.6 lbs with no outlets on the box, it isn't something you move or plug devices directly into. If you want a unit you can carry or set on a bench, the F3800 or a smaller portable is the class to shop.
Anker SOLIX E10 or BLUETTI AC500 + 2*B300K — which should I buy?
It comes down to what you're installing. The E10 is a hardwired whole-home battery: bigger at 6,144Wh, three times the solar input, silent, and warrantied for five years. The AC500 stack is a plug-in power station with USB-C and standard outlets, and it costs $1,000 less. Buy the E10 for solar-fed home backup; buy the AC500 if you want a box you plug into and move.
