Buy the Explorer 1500 v2. It's $949 against the DELTA Pro 3's $2,799, it holds 1,536Wh against 4,096Wh, and for the loads most people actually list when they ask this question, the smaller number is the one that's enough.
The reason the price gap can't settle this is that almost nothing else about these two is different in kind. Both cells are rated for 4,000 cycles. Both carry 5-year warranties. Both are rated at 30 dBA and both top out at 100W over USB-C. Strip out capacity, weight and how fast each one drinks sunlight and the spec sheets converge. That makes this a sizing decision, not a value decision, and sizing decisions have a right answer once you know your worst night.

What's left is $0.15 per lifetime kilowatt-hour against $0.11. Four cents. That's the money declining to pick a side, and it's the most useful thing it says, because it means neither of these is overpriced. One of them is just bigger.
The figure that does carry information is what the premium buys. $1,850 for 2,560Wh of extra capacity works out to about 66 cents per additional watt-hour, which is more than either unit charges on its own (59 cents and 46 cents). Take the Jackery Explorer 1500 v2 at $949 unless you can name the load that beats it. Both units are rated for the same 4,000 cycles and carry the same 5-year warranty, so this was never a durability question. It's a sizing question, and the Explorer covers the CPAP night, the remote workday and the tailgate with room left. Its two real gaps are the camping weekend and the eight-hour outage, and both close with a panel and a couple of hours of sun, because a smaller battery needs a smaller refill. The DELTA Pro 3 is the correct buy, not a splurge, for three specific people: anyone with a 240V circuit to feedA1, anyone whose outages run past a day or arrive in January when panels underperform, and anyone whose load list is still growing.
