EcoFlow DELTA
DELTA is EcoFlow's mainstream line and the backbone of its ecosystem. It’s designed to be placed and built upon — expansion batteries across nearly the whole range, a large outlet count, and tight integration with EcoFlow's panels and smart home hardware. It expects to become part of a larger setup over time.
Jackery HomePower
HomePower is Jackery's newer backup line, and it takes the opposite approach to the same job: fewer models, each engineered hard. It carries the longest-lived cells and the highest energy density we measure, and it’s built to sit in one place doing the same duty for years.
Are these two lines even competing?
Before asking which is better, it's worth asking whether they overlap at all.
This is one of the most closely matched cross-brand pairings we’ve. The two lines occupy nearly the same capacity band, hold the same power character, carry the same surge headroom and switch over to battery equally fast. Several models sit directly against each other on both capacity and output.
That makes them genuinely substitutable across most of their range — which is unusual, and worth saying plainly. The choice isn’t about capability. It comes down to two things: how many years of daily cycling you need, and whether you want the option to add capacity later.

Is EcoFlow DELTA or Jackery HomePower better?
They’re unusually closely matched — identical power character, surge headroom and switchover speed, and overlapping capacities. HomePower is rated for double the charge cycles and is more energy-dense. DELTA expands more readily and offers more outlets and a broader ecosystem. If the unit will cycle daily, HomePower's lifespan lead is the strongest argument on the table; if it’s occasional backup you expect to grow, DELTA is.
Which lasts longer, DELTA or HomePower?
HomePower, by a factor of two on the cycle rating. In practice that’s the difference between roughly eight years and well over a decade of daily cycling. If the unit only runs during occasional outages, neither will reach its rating in any realistic ownership period and the difference should not drive your decision.
Can both lines back up a home?
