When a winter storm takes the grid down in my canyon, the first question is how many hours until the lines come back, and nobody can tell me. These two EcoFlows answer that differently. The DELTA 3 Ultra holds 3,072Wh. The DELTA 3 Max Plus holds 2,048Wh. Both use LFP cells, the long-lived lithium iron phosphate kind, and both carry a five-year warranty.
The Ultra costs $200 more. For that you get the bigger tank, more continuous power and more surge. Spread over its rated life, it's also the cheaper one per kilowatt-hour, $0.11 against $0.15.
