Spec deltas
The Yeti 200X's AC outlet is rated for 120 watts continuous and 200 watts on surge. That number, not the 187Wh battery behind it, decides this comparison. A motor or a heating element pulls several times its running draw in the instant it wakes up, so on the Yeti it doesn't run slowly, it doesn't run. The Power 2000's inverter is rated for 3,000W, twenty-five times as much.
Price says the opposite of what the tags say. $220 against $1,299 reads as a six-to-one decision until you divide by the energy each unit will ever move. 500 cycles of 187Wh is 94 kWh over the Yeti's whole life; 4,000 cycles of 2,048Wh is 8,192 kWh over the DJI's. Sixteen cents a kilowatt-hour against two dollars thirty-five. You would have to buy and retire eighty-seven Yeti 200Xs to push as much energy through them as one Power 2000 does by itself.
So the Power 2000 wins, and the interesting part is where it doesn't. The Yeti weighs 5 lb and disappears into a daypack. There's one thing worth knowing about a 187Wh battery, which is how full it is, and the front panel tells you that while you're holding it. The Power 2000 gives you both an app and an on-device screen, and it's the unit where remote monitoring earns its keep, because it's the one likely to be left running in a basement or wired behind a rack. On a box that lives in your hand, treat the missing app as a non-event.
Yeti 200X: Fixed Capacity
The Yeti 200X is sealed at 187Wh — fine if that covers you, but it's the ceiling. By contrast the Power 2000 can add expansion batteries, though the first thing it has over the Yeti 200X is its own 2,048Wh base — expansion is the step after that, for the buyer who would outgrow 2,048Wh as well.

The Power 2000 flips to battery in 10 milliseconds, fast enough that a desktop, a router or a NAS never registers that the grid left. Buy the Power 2000 if you…
- →You're buying for outages and the list has a fridge on it. The Power 2000 carries the 8-Hour Blackout load at 94% of what it can deliver, and it's the only one of the two that can start that load at all.

Buy the Yeti 200X if you…
If neither fits
Two people should close this tab. If you're living in a van full-time, the daily load here is 4,685Wh and neither unit covers it. The Power 2000 gets you just over a third of that day and would need expansion batteries to finish the job, and the Yeti isn't in the running at all, so shop 4kWh-and-up systems or a proper DC-DC-charged house bank instead. And if your list really is a phone and a headlamp, both of these are more box than you need: a USB-C power bank that fits in a jacket pocket does that job for a fraction of $220 and weighs a fraction of 5 lb.
