Is the Jackery Explorer 3000 v2 worth the extra money over the 2000 v2?
Only if your loads need it. The 3000 costs $2,499 against the 2000's $799, and that $1,700 buys 1,030 extra watt-hours at about $1.65 each, double the 2000's per-watt-hour rate. If your longest single session stays under roughly 1,700 usable Wh, the 2000 does the same job for far less.
How long does the Explorer 3000 v2 take to recharge on solar?
With its 1,000W maximum solar input, about three hours of strong sun from empty (3,072Wh at 1,000W). The 2000 v2 actually takes longer, around five hours, despite the smaller pack, because its solar input is capped at 400W.
Is the Explorer 3000 v2 quiet enough for a bedroom?
There's no way to know from the spec sheet. Jackery doesn't publish a noise figure for the 3000 v2, while the 2000 v2 lists 30dB (a best-case quiet-mode floor, not a load measurement). If low noise near where you sleep is the priority, the 2000 is the one with a number to plan around.
Is the DJI Power 2000 or Jackery Explorer 3000 v2 the better value?
The DJI, clearly, on price: $1,299 against $2,499 for the same 4,000-cycle, 11-year lifespan, and $0.16 per lifetime kilowatt-hour against $0.20. The Jackery gives you 50% more capacity, but you pay $1,200 for it. It's the better value only if you'll routinely use that extra capacity in a single run.
Is the Jackery Explorer 3000 v2 still being made?
It's reportedly being phased out in favor of the newer Jackery HomePower 3000 [B0], though it was on the market long enough to gather real owner feedback. If you buy one, use a retailer with a solid return window in case the stock is old or you need support.
