Is the Anker SOLIX F2600 worth the extra money over the C2000 Gen 2?
For a unit that stays at home, yes. $100 buys 512Wh more battery and 200W more solar input, making the F2600 the cheaper of the two per watt-hour of capacity, and it finishes an 8-hour blackout with 531Wh left against 96Wh. If you'll carry it often, the extra 28.8 lbs costs more than the capacity is worth.
Can the Anker SOLIX F2600 work as a UPS for a desktop computer?
It has a UPS mode rated at ≤20ms, which on paper is fine for routers and most electronics, but the fussiest desktop power supplies sit right at that line. The C2000 Gen 2 is rated ≤10ms. If a PC with unsaved work is what you're protecting, that's a real reason to take the smaller unit.
Can the Anker SOLIX F2600 run a refrigerator?
It can run one continuously — 2,400W is plenty for a household fridge's running draw — but its surge headroom is thin, only 400W above that continuous rating. A compressor that spikes 2-3x at startup gets closer to the F2600's 2,800W ceiling than to the F3000's 7,200W. For a single efficient fridge it's usually fine; for a fridge plus other motor loads running at once, the F3000 has the margin.
Is the Anker SOLIX F2600 worth $200 more (on last listed prices) than the F2000?
Only if your loads regularly top about 2,048Wh or you need to recharge fast mid-outage. The two share inverter, surge, cycle rating, warranty, solar input, and ports; the F2600 adds 512Wh of capacity and HyperFlash wall charging [B1]. For loads that fit under two kilowatt-hours, which covers most blackout and weekend duty, the F2000 does the identical job for less.
Is the SOLIX F2600 just a bigger SOLIX C1000?
Mostly, yes — same 3,000-cycle LFP chemistry, the same 5-year warranty, and the same expansion-battery system, just scaled up. The real differences are more than double the capacity, 600W more continuous output, and a 1,000W solar ceiling instead of 600W, all for $651 more and 42.1 lbs more.
