EcoFlow DELTA 3000 Gen4 vs DJI Power 2000Half Again the Battery, Just 8.8 lb Heavier. Why Stay Small?
The DELTA 4 (3000) carries half again the Power 2000's battery and a bigger inverter for 8.8 lb more, and it costs less per watt-hour. I'd take it, unless you want to add batteries later or can't wait for it to ship.

Gunnerβs take
Whole-Home Backup Tester
Stepping up from the Power 2000 costs 8.8 lb and $400.
The DJI Power 2000 holds 2,048 Wh and weighs 48.5 lb. The DELTA 4 (3000) holds 3,072 Wh and weighs 57.3 lbA1A7. That's half again the battery, and at $1,699 against $1,299 it comes out cheaper per watt-hour than the DJI.
The difference shows up the morning after a blackout.
On our 8-hour blackout load, the Power 2000 finishes the night with 96 Wh left. The DELTA 4 (3000) finishes with 966 Wh, more than half of a second night. A camping weekend is blunter still: the DJI comes up 359 Wh short and the EcoFlow doesn't.
What the Numbers Reveal
Each conclusion stated first β the numbers behind it on one line, the full analysis below.
Outages don't end when the first night does. The Power 2000 starts day two needing a recharge before dark. The DELTA 4 (3000) starts it with more than half a night still in the battery, which buys a whole day to get panels out or wait for the grid.
8-Hour Blackout load: 1,645 WhPower 2000: 1,741 Wh usable, 96 Wh left at the endDELTA 4 (3000): 2,611 Wh usable, 966 Wh left at the end
Why it mattersIf your outages ever run into a second evening, that reserve is the reason to step up.
solar input
That only pays if you own the panels to feed it. Nearly 1,800 W of panels is a roof rack's worth, not a pair of folding ones. With the two 160 W panels EcoFlow bundles in its kitA10, neither port gets anywhere near its limit and the port size stops deciding anything.
Power 2000: 1,800 W solar input into 2,048 WhDELTA 4 (3000): one solar input, 1,000 W at 11 to 60 V, into 3,072 WhA5Reviewers report a full solar charge on the Power 2000 in about 75 minutesB1
Why it mattersIf you already run a big array, the DJI's solar input is worth real money. With a couple of folding panels, it isn't.
Capacity
The DJI's first extra battery mostly buys back capacity the DELTA 4 (3000) ships with. It only pulls ahead once you'd want more than 3,072 Wh, and a buyer who already knows that is shopping for an expandable box, which among the DELTA 4s means the bigger oneA6.
DELTA 4 (3000): sealed at 3,072 Wh, no extra-battery portA6Power 2000: takes DJI expansion batteriesPower 2000 starts at 2,048 Wh
Why it mattersIf 3,072 Wh covers your worst night, sealed costs you nothing. If you know it won't, don't buy the sealed one.
The specific dimensions that decide these two units β everything else is a tie.
Your Life, Your Pick
Selected because: The 8-hour blackout ends with 96 Wh left in the Power 2000 and 966 Wh in the DELTA 4 (3000).
The short jobs don't split them. A CPAP night, a workday and a tailgate leave most of either battery untouched. The long jobs do: the Power 2000 finishes our blackout night on its last 96 Wh, and it can't finish the camping weekend at all.
I'd plan for the second night, not the first. I wire houses, and the outages that cost people a freezer of food are the ones that roll into a second evening. The DELTA 4 (3000) wakes up with 966 Wh left. That's a morning to set up panels before anything goes dark.
Growth Path
Selected because: The DJI takes extra batteries. The DELTA 4 (3000) has no port for them.
solar input
This is the DELTA 4 (3000)'s honest catch. It has no extra-battery portA6. The 3,072 Wh you buy is the 3,072 Wh you keep. The Power 2000 takes DJI's expansion batteries, so it can grow past where it starts.
The DJI's growth spends its first battery catching up. Until you'd need more than 3,072 Wh, an expanded Power 2000 is chasing a box that came that size. If you can see yourself past that line, look at the bigger DELTA 4 as well, which takes extra batteriesA6.
Portability & Form Factor
Selected because: 57.3 lb against 48.5 lb: the step up weighs 8.8 lb.
weight
I'd carry either one alone. The Power 2000 is 48.5 lb. The DELTA 4 (3000) is 57.3 lb with a handle at each endA7. Both are one-person lifts into a trunk.
Per pound, the EcoFlow carries more battery. You add 8.8 lb and get half again the capacity. If the box spends most of its life in a closet waiting for storms, that trade is easy. If it rides to every soccer game, the DJI is the one your back will thank you for.
Lifetime Value
Selected because: 6,000 rated cycles on 3,072 Wh against 4,000 on 2,048 Wh.
cost / lifetime kWh
Over its rated life, the EcoFlow is the cheaper box to own. Spread each price over the energy its rated cycles deliver and the DELTA 4 (3000) comes to $0.09 a kWh against $0.16. A bigger battery and more cycles both push that way: 6,000 on 3,072 Wh against 4,000 on 2,048 Wh.
Daily use is where that figure lives. A box parked at full for the odd storm won't get near either rating. Cycle it off solar every day and the DJI reaches its rating in 11 years while the EcoFlow runs to 16.4 years.

Conclusion
November 4, 2026
Verdict: the DELTA 3000 Gen4, on Power Score margin
I'd buy the DELTA 4 (3000). It holds 3,072 Wh against 2,048 Wh, runs 3,600 W against 3,000 W and carries a 6,000-cycle rating against 4,000, for 8.8 lb and $400 more. That's less per watt-hour on the shelf and $0.09 per lifetime kWh against $0.16. The Power 2000 keeps three real cards: 1,800 W of solar input against 1,000 W, room for extra batteries the DELTA 4 (3000) can't takeA6, and it's on sale now while EcoFlow ships in early DecemberA10. If you plan to grow past 3,072 Wh, or need power this month, the call goes to the DJI.

Each unit's star score is a category ranking, not customer reviews β no buyer opinions feed it. We score every station on size-independent quality (value, output, portability, endurance, ports, warranty, and more), then percentile-rank it against the other units in its capacity class, so a class-leading compact unit and a class-leading whole-home unit can both earn 5β . Here, DELTA 3000 Gen4 rates 4.8/5 (86th percentile of 29 Large-class units), and Power 2000 rates 4.3/5 (57th percentile of 29 Large-class units).

Hidden gotchas and advantages we spotted that you won't find on the product page.
No Port for More Batteries
The DELTA 4 (3000) is sealed at 3,072 Wh. The Power 2000 starts at 2,048 Wh and takes DJI's expansion batteries, so its first one mostly closes the gap. It only pulls ahead if you'd grow past 3,072 Wh.
Warranty: No Difference
Both units carry the same 5-year warranty, so coverage isn't a tiebreaker here. Both figures are maximums rather than guarantees: EcoFlow's depends on registering the unit in the EcoFlow app, which adds two years to a three-year standard term; DJI's on buying from DJI's own store, which is where the full five years is advertised. Worth saying because the per-dollar framing can suggest otherwise: the Power 2000 works out at 3.8 years of cover per $1,000 spent against the DELTA 3000 Gen4's 2.9, but that spread is the price gap, not the terms.
Battery Lifespan in Real Years
The DELTA 3000 Gen4 is rated for 6,000 cycles vs 4,000. In real life: at daily use, that's 16.4 vs 11 years. At weekend use (twice a week), it's 58 vs 38 years. One caution reading years across different sizes: a cycle is 3,072Wh on the DELTA 3000 Gen4 and 2,048Wh on the Power 2000, so count lifetime energy β roughly 18,432 kWh against 8,192 kWh over the rated life. After hitting the cycle limit, the battery doesn't die β it drops to ~80% of original capacity, which is still very usable.

Analyst note
The Power 2000 is cheaper to buy, but the DELTA 3000 Gen4 is cheaper to own. At $0.09/kWh over its lifetime vs $0.16/kWh, the DELTA 3000 Gen4's higher cycle life and capacity make each dollar go further over the years.

New entrant (2024) β five power station models to date: Power 500, Power 1000 (since superseded by the V2 but still sold), Power 1000 V2, Power 1000 Mini, Power 2000. Buying a "Power 1000" listing? Check which revision it actually ships.
Support
Leveraging DJI's established global support and repair center network from the drone business. Generally positive reputation inherited from drone operations, but limited power-station-specific track record.
Community
No dedicated power station community yet. Discussions happen within r/dji (~250K members, mostly drone users). Very small power-specific presence on Facebook and forums.
App experience
Rated 3.5/5 iOS and Android (DJI Home app ratings reflect entire DJI ecosystem including drones/cameras, not power-station-specific). Users report the on-device screen is more reliable than the app.
Unique strength
Runs quiet β 23-30dB published on most of the range (manufacturer best-case figures), at the quiet end of the category; our record carries no figure for the Power 1000 V2. Fast wall charging, quickest on the Power 1000 V2 at ~56 min β that figure is the V2's, not the whole line's. 700+ battery patents from drone R&D. SDC ports for ultra-fast DJI drone charging. Premium industrial design and build quality. LFP batteries rated for 4,000+ cycles.
Worth knowing
A recent entrant to power stations, arriving long after the established players, so there is less long-term field data than for EcoFlow, Jackery or BLUETTI β though DJI brings a deep hardware track record from drones. No built-in solar charge controller (requires a separate proprietary adapter). SDC ports are proprietary to the DJI ecosystem, so their fast-charging advantage mostly benefits people who already own DJI gear. Battery expansion is available on the newer Power 2000 and Power 1000 V2, but not on the earlier Power 1000 or Power 500 β check the specific model.
Analyst note
EcoFlow and DJI are close competitors. Both have established support channels and growing ecosystems. Compare their specific warranty terms and community size for your peace of mind.
Growth path
DELTA 3000 Gen4
FIXED CAPACITYFixed at 3,072Wh β a sealed, complete system rather than a starting point. There's no expansion port, so that figure is the ceiling: check it against your longest unplugged stretch before you buy.
Accepts up to 1,000W of solar. Enough for a serious multi-panel array.
Adequate ports for most setups, but heavy users may want a power strip.
Power 2000
EXPANDABLESupports DJI expansion batteries, so you can add capacity later without replacing the base unit β useful if your needs may climb past 2,048Wh.
Accepts up to 1,800W of solar. Enough for a serious multi-panel array.
Generous port selection supports complex multi-device setups.
Expansion batteries are DJI-specific. You're investing in the DJI ecosystem.
Realistic full solar rechargeat 70% of rated panel output β see methodology
Analyst note
Don't read the Power 2000's expandability as a straight win here: it starts at 2,048Wh, below the DELTA 3000 Gen4's 3,072Wh, so a first expansion battery largely buys back capacity the DELTA 3000 Gen4 already includes. It only pulls ahead if you'd grow past 3,072Wh β short of that, the DELTA 3000 Gen4's larger fixed capacity is the simpler value.

Nobody owns a DELTA 4 (3000) yet. EcoFlow put it on sale on November 4 and ships it in early DecemberA10, so this page runs on EcoFlow's US store page and our own arithmeticA1A4A9.
I'd want to test its wall charger on a real kitchen circuit. Hypothetically, I'd plug it into an outlet that also feeds a toaster and see what gives first. EcoFlow's 1,800 W charging rate is 15 A at 120 V, the full rating of a 15 A circuitA4. My guess is the breaker answers, and the fix is turning the charge rate down in the EcoFlow appA4.

Who Should Buy Which
Buy the DELTA 3000 Gen4 if youβ¦
- βYour outages run past one night. It ends our 8-hour blackout with 966 Wh left. The Power 2000 ends it with 96 Wh.
- βYou camp for whole weekends. The DJI comes up 359 Wh short of our 2,100 Wh weekend. The EcoFlow finishes it.
- βYou want more battery for each dollar. It holds half again as much and costs less per watt-hour.
- βSomething big runs on it. 3,600 W continuous against 3,000 W.
Buy the Power 2000 if youβ¦
- βYou'll add batteries later. The DJI takes expansion batteries. The DELTA 4 (3000) has no port for themA6.
- βYou already run a big solar array. 1,800 W of solar input against 1,000 W on one portA5.
- βYou need it before December. EcoFlow ships the DELTA 4 (3000) in early DecemberA10, and the Power 2000 is on sale now.
- βYour RV has a 30 A inlet. The Power 2000 has an RV-style 30 A outlet. The EcoFlow's 30 A outlet is a twist-lockA3.
If neither fits
If your day looks like Van Life Daily, neither covers it on one battery. That day needs 4,685 Wh. A van that lives off-grid should start with a unit built to take extra batteries from day one, sized for that number.
The Bottom Line
If one night isn't always enough, I'd buy the DELTA 4 (3000). It holds half again the battery for 8.8 lb more, costs less per watt-hour, and it's the one still running on the second evening.
If you'll grow the system or need power before December, buy the Power 2000. It takes extra batteries the EcoFlow can'tA6, drinks more sun, and it ships now.

For outages and long weekends, yes. It holds 3,072 Wh against 2,048 Wh for $400 more, which works out cheaper per watt-hour, and it ends an 8-hour blackout with 966 Wh left where the DJI has 96 Wh. Stay with the DJI if you plan to add batteries or need it before December.
How much is the DELTA 4 (3000) in the US, and when does it ship?
EcoFlow lists it at $1,699 on its US store. It went on sale on November 4, 2026, and EcoFlow says it ships in early December. The DJI Power 2000 sells for $1,299.
