EcoFlow's own store no longer carries the RIVER 3 230. It turns up on the odd marketplace listing, and plenty of people already own one. The RIVER 3 PLUS is now the smallest RIVER 3 that store sells.
The batteries are close, 56Wh apart, roughly one laptop battery. The output is where they split. The PLUS runs 600W continuous where the 230 stops at 300W, and its surge rating doubles too. Surge is the short burst a motor or compressor needs to get started.
I live out of a Subaru, where the PLUS's extra 2.6 lb vanishes. If I were carrying it up the Dipsea steps I'd feel it by the top, and I'd still take the extra outlet.
