EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 vs BLUETTI AC200P L

These two sell energy at nearly the same rate over their rated lives, so price isn't the question — one is a fixture you install and the other is cargo you carry, and that's the whole decision.

Across their rated lives these two cost within a cent of each other per kilowatt-hour: $0.17 for the DELTA Pro 3, $0.16 for the AC200P L. $1,700 separates them at the register and almost nothing separates them on the meter, which kills the question most people arrive with.

So this isn't a value argument, it's a placement argument. The DELTA Pro 3 is a two-person lift that goes into position once and stays there. The AC200P L is the heavier end of what one person carries, and it still carries: truck bed, tailgate, garage, back again. Everything else on this page is downstream of that.

The pick is the DELTA Pro 3 for anyone backing up a house, and it isn't close. It takes the blackout, the workday and the CPAP night, it's the only one of the two with 240V outlets at all, and it starts day two of an outage with more than half its usable energy untouched. If the box has to move, none of that matters, because it isn't going.

02

What the Numbers Reveal

Each conclusion stated first — the numbers behind it on one line, the full analysis below.

F1

cost / lifetime kWh

And the cheaper box runs a shorter clock: 3,000 rated cycles against 4,000, which the engine puts at 8.2 years of daily cycling against 11. That's the shape of this whole matchup. The price gap isn't a premium to justify or a bargain to grab, it's a quantity decision, and the arguments that actually settle it are all physical.

The DELTA Pro 3 is rated 4,096Wh for 4,000 cycles — 16,384 kWh over its rated life.The AC200P L is rated 2,304Wh for 3,000 cycles — 6,912 kWh.Lifetime cost lands at $0.17 per kilowatt-hour for the DELTA Pro 3 and $0.16 for the AC200P L.

Why it mattersAnyone shopping this pair on sticker price is optimizing the one axis where the two are tied.

F2

continuous output

Judge them on the continuous figures, where the gap is real and boring: 4,000W against 2,400W. Then count outlets before you read either surge row, because the AC200P L's record carries zero 240V outlets against the DELTA Pro 3's two. For a well pump or a dryer circuit, whether the inverter could surge that high never comes up. There's nowhere to plug it in.

The DELTA Pro 3 lists 4,000W continuous and a 6,000W peak, which our research file attributes to EcoFlow's X-BoostA1.The AC200P L lists 2,400W continuous and a 3,600W peak.Both peaks sit at exactly 1.5x rated output (6,000 ÷ 4,000 and 3,600 ÷ 2,400).

Why it mattersIf you're buying for a motor load or a 240V circuit, the surge row is the wrong row — read continuous output and count sockets.

F3

solar input

Which is the entire argument on day two. The AC200P L comes out of one night with a fifth of a second night in hand, so tomorrow depends on the sun cooperating, and it takes proportionally longer to get there. The DELTA Pro 3 wakes up more than half full with a solar ceiling more than twice as tall. An outage doesn't schedule itself around your panel count.

The DELTA Pro 3 accepts up to 2,600W of solar; the AC200P L caps at 1,200W.Capacities are 4,096Wh and 2,304Wh.On the eight-hour blackout profile the DELTA Pro 3 finishes at 47% used with 1,837Wh left; the AC200P L finishes at 84% used with 313Wh.

Why it mattersIf your outages have ever run past one evening, this is the row that should decide the purchase.

F4

That's a smaller problem than a flat 'neither' makes it sound, because 142Wh is a rounding error against an afternoon of panel, and the AC200P L takes panels. The DELTA Pro 3's version of the shortfall has no fix at all — nothing you bolt on makes it lighter.

The weekend camping profile needs 2,100Wh.The AC200P L's usable figure is 1,958Wh, leaving it 142Wh short — about 93% of the weekend. The DELTA Pro 3 covers the same weekend with 1,382Wh spare, and weighs 112.4 lbs.

Why it mattersWeekend campers should read that scenario as 'AC200P L plus a panel', not as a reason to buy the bigger box.

The specific dimensions that decide these two units — everything else is a tie.

Portability & Form Factor

Selected because: One of these is a solo carry and the other is a permanent installation, and that decides which scenarios each one can even enter.

weight

Decide where this thing lives before you decide which one to buy, because one of them makes that decision permanent. The DELTA Pro 3 is a two-person job down a flight of basement stairs and a one-person job nowhere. It goes into position once and stays, which is fine, since whole-home backup rarely moves. It does mean you're buying a fixture with a plug rather than a piece of equipment you own.

The AC200P L is at the top end of what one person carries, and it still carries. That's the real gap between them: not a number on a scale, but whether the box has a job outside the house. If it does, this page is already over.

Lifetime Value

Selected because: Across their rated lives the two land within a cent of each other per kilowatt-hour, which takes price off the table and hands the decision back to the specs.

cost / lifetime kWh

Nobody wins the money argument here, which is the most useful thing on the page. A cent a kilowatt-hour across the rated life is not a reason to do anything, and it means the cheaper unit isn't the value pick — it's the smaller order.

So the $1,700 between them isn't a premium anyone has to justify. It's a quantity you either need or you don't. Ask how much energy has to sit in one box in your house, and let that answer the price question, because the price question has already answered itself.

Your Life, Your Pick

Selected because: The six profiles split along a line that has nothing to do with capacity: the DELTA Pro 3 takes the ones that happen at home, the AC200P L takes the one that happens in a parking lot.

Six profiles, and they split along the driveway. The DELTA Pro 3 takes the eight-hour blackout, the remote workday and the CPAP night, all three of which happen where the unit already is. The AC200P L takes the tailgate, and it takes it because the DELTA Pro 3 can't come. Capacity never entered into that one.

The two rows the engine gives to neither unit are the honest ones. Van life at 4,685Wh a day is out of range for both. The weekend camp is this matchup in miniature: one can't go, the other can't finish. Read those two as the boundary of what a single portable box does, not as a mark against either one.

What the Specs Don't Tell You

Selected because: Identical 5-year terms and two UPS figures that are ratings rather than measurements — the cautions here mostly close the gap the price opens.

rated cycles

Most of the cards below close the gap the price opens. Both records carry a 5-year term, so coverage isn't a tiebreaker, though the AC200P L's is the conditional kind — up to five years with registration or a direct purchase from BLUETTI, where reseller stock carries less — while EcoFlow's is the flat five on our record. The UPS line reads no worse than 10ms against no worse than 20ms, and both are ratings rather than stopwatch results, so treat them as classes if a desktop with unsaved work is what you're protecting.

The one card that doesn't close is the weight. It isn't a spec you trade against another spec — it's a decision about where the unit spends the rest of its life, and no accessory reverses it.

Weekend Camping

Two nights off-grid with essential comfort

Neither unit

Neither gives you a powered weekend: the DELTA Pro 3 has the energy but doesn't travel, and the AC200P L covers about 93% of the 2,100Wh. One can't go; the other can't finish.

8-Hour Blackout

Keep the essentials running through a night without power

DELTA Pro 3

Both survive the night. The DELTA Pro 3 finishes at 47% used with 1,837Wh left — 1.1 more nights like it. The AC200P L finishes at 84% with 313Wh, 19% of a second night. If your outages tend to run past one evening, that difference is the whole argument between them.

CPAP Overnight

Sleep therapy without interruption — the #1 medical use case

Either unit

A CPAP is about 40W for eight hours, so both of these cover the night several times over — capacity isn't the question here. The only published difference is fan noise, and it can't settle this: the DELTA Pro 3 is rated 30dB and the AC200P L 50dB, but they are two makers' figures, each measured its own way. Neither settles which box is quieter at a bedside. Buy whichever is cheaper or easier to carry.

DELTA Pro 3

Both of these finish a remote workday without being asked to think about it. The DELTA Pro 3 takes the row on slack rather than on need, ending the day with enough banked to run two more exactly like it, while the AC200P L finishes at 46% used with more than half its usable energy still sitting there. Worth knowing before you buy the bigger battery on the strength of your work-from-anywhere setup: this particular day is not the argument for it.

AC200P L

The DELTA Pro 3 at 113.5 lbs is not a take-along — it rolls off a truck bed if it travels at all, so this scenario belongs to the AC200P L by default — and it earns it, covering the 670Wh with 1,288Wh to spare. Capacity was never the DELTA Pro 3's problem here; getting to a tailgate was.

Neither unit

Neither unit covers this scenario's 4,685Wh: the DELTA Pro 3 comes up 1,203Wh short (about 74% covered), the AC200P L 2,727Wh (42%). Treat this as partial cover — enough for the essentials in it, not the whole list.

Conclusion

September 19, 2026

Verdict: the DELTA Pro 3, on Power Score margin

Buy the DELTA Pro 3 if the unit has a permanent address. It takes three of the six scenario profiles on this page, it carries two 240V outlets where the AC200P L's record shows none, it runs 4,000W continuous against 2,400W, and it accepts 2,600W of solar against 1,200W. None of that is paid for with a price premium: across their rated lives the two land within a cent of each other per kilowatt-hour, so the extra is a larger order rather than a markup. The reversal is physical, not financial. At 112.4 lbs the DELTA Pro 3 is a two-person lift that goes where you put it and stays there, so if the box has to reach a tailgate, a truck bed or a second floor, the AC200P L wins by being liftable and the DELTA Pro 3 never gets a vote.

Class ranking (the star rating)

Each unit's star score is a category ranking, not customer reviews — no buyer opinions feed it. We score every station on size-independent quality (value, output, portability, endurance, ports, warranty, and more), then percentile-rank it against the other units in its capacity class, so a class-leading compact unit and a class-leading whole-home unit can both earn 5★. Here, DELTA Pro 3 rates 3.9/5 (37th percentile of 20 Home Backup-class units), and AC200P L rates 3.7/5 (22nd percentile of 28 Large-class units).

Test Notes & Caveats

Hidden gotchas and advantages we spotted that you won't find on the product page.

[CAUTION]

Where each one ends up living

The AC200P L at 63.5 lbs is a solo lift if you're sensible about it — bent knees, both hands, don't do the stairs twice. It goes into a truck bed and comes back out. The DELTA Pro 3 at 112.4 lbs is a two-person job, and you'll do it once: down to the basement, into the garage corner, onto the shelf beside the breaker panel, and then never again. That's less a drawback than a category. One of these is equipment and the other is an appliance, and the expensive mistake is buying the appliance when what you wanted was equipment.

[NOTE]

This row is pointed at the wrong unit

Each figure is its own maker's, measured its own way, so the difference between the two isn't a gap you can hear. What's worth noticing is where each unit actually runs. The AC200P L is the one that leaves the house, and outdoors at a tailgate or a campsite, fan noise is somebody else's problem. The DELTA Pro 3 is the one that lives indoors, possibly in a room you sleep near, so it's the one whose rating you'd want confirmed by somebody who owns one. If either is going next to a bed, go find a hands-on report — neither maker's number tells you what you'll hear at 3 a.m.

[NOTE]

AC200P L: Power Lifting to 3,600W

The AC200P L has BLUETTI's Power Lifting mode, which runs a resistive appliance rated up to 3,600W from its 2,400W inverter. It does that by delivering less power than the appliance asks for, not more than the inverter has: the heater still works, it just heats more slowly. Two things follow. BLUETTI scopes the mode to purely resistive loads — a heater, a kettle, an incandescent lamp — so it does nothing for a fridge compressor, a pump or a power tool; for motor loads the figure to read is the AC200P L's separate 3,600W surge peak, not this one. And it is not a reason to size down, because running a load that big from 2,304Wh is a short session either way. Genuinely useful if a heater or a kettle is why you're buying; beside the point otherwise. The DELTA Pro 3 publishes no equivalent.

[NOTE]

UPS Switchover: ≤10ms vs ≤20ms

Both list a UPS mode, at different rated speeds. The DELTA Pro 3 is rated ≤10ms — quick enough on paper that desktop PCs and routers should ride through, treating that as the rating it is. The AC200P L is rated ≤20ms — fine on paper for routers and most electronics; the fussiest PC power supplies sit right at this line. If a computer with unsaved work is the thing being protected, the stated class is worth the attention; nothing here is a lab result.

[NOTE]

Warranty: No Difference

Both units carry the same 5-year warranty, so coverage isn't a tiebreaker here. The AC200P L's figure is a maximum rather than a guarantee — it depends on buying direct from BLUETTI or registering the unit, since reseller purchases carry a shorter term. Worth saying because the per-dollar framing can suggest otherwise: the AC200P L works out at 4.5 years of cover per $1,000 spent against the DELTA Pro 3's 1.8, but that spread is the price gap, not the terms.

[NOTE]

Battery Lifespan in Real Years

The DELTA Pro 3 is rated for 4,000 cycles vs 3,000. In real life: at daily use, that's 11 vs 8.2 years. At weekend use (twice a week), it's 38 vs 29 years. One caution reading years across different sizes: a cycle is 4,096Wh on the DELTA Pro 3 and 2,304Wh on the AC200P L, so count lifetime energy — roughly 16,384 kWh against 6,912 kWh over the rated life. After hitting the cycle limit, the battery doesn't die — it drops to ~80% of original capacity, which is still very usable.

Full record above — the Test Desk pick is the DELTA Pro 3.

Brand trust

EcoFlow

Ecosystem

Largest in portable power — 12-15 models across DELTA Pro, DELTA 3, and RIVER 3 series, plus solar panels and smart home panels

Support

US-based phone/email/chat support (1-800-368-8604). Experiences are polarized — many report hassle-free prepaid-label replacements, but others report long waits and refurbished units sent for new claims. Pro tip: buying from Costco or Amazon gives you a stronger return safety net.

Community

Largest community in the space — Reddit r/Ecoflow_community (~31K members), multiple Facebook groups, and an official community forum

App experience

Rated 4.6/5 iOS (~8,400 ratings) · 4.2/5 Android (~17,000 ratings)

Unique strength

Fastest-charging technology (X-Stream), deepest product ecosystem, and most active innovation cadence. At the top of the range sit two whole-home paths: the TITAN line, one 5 kWh unit that grows to 30 kWh, and the DELTA Pro Ultra platform, which stacks batteries and inverters further — flagship paths, not line-wide features.

Worth knowing

EcoFlow's reach is the real asset here: the largest model range in portable power and the biggest community in the category, which matters most when you want an answer at 11 p.m. instead of a support ticket. The catch is the exit. There are no parts and no service once the warranty is done, so those five years are the whole relationship.

BLUETTI

Ecosystem

One of the broadest lineups — 15-20+ models from budget (AC2A) to flagship portable (Apex 300, 2764.8Wh). Includes specialized products: vehicle solar hubs, sodium-ion cold-weather units, and balcony storage systems.

Support

The most inconsistent support in the space. Heavily email-based with China timezone delays. Some users get smooth, efficient service; others report weeks of troubleshooting runarounds, being offered discounts on new units instead of repairs, and confusing third-party purchase claim processes. Buying direct from Bluetti's website tends to produce better support outcomes.

Community

Active and growing — Reddit r/bluetti has a dedicated community. Second-largest after EcoFlow in engagement.

App experience

Rated 4.5/5 iOS and Android — tied for best app experience in the category. V3.0 UI redesign was well-received.

Unique strength

Among the best capacity-to-price ratios available — several Elite and Apex units are the lowest $/Wh in the catalog. Widest product diversity including industry-firsts like sodium-ion cold-weather units and dual solar+alternator vehicle hubs. LFP across the rest of the range, though rated cycle life spans 2,500 (EB3A) to 6,000, and it varies WITHIN the Elite range rather than tracking it — the Elite 300 and Elite 200 V2 are rated 6,000 while the Elite 30 V2, Elite 10 Mini, Elite 320 and Elite 400 are rated 3,000+ and the Elite 100 V2 4,000+, so check the specific model. Dual-voltage (120V/240V) in flagships.

Worth knowing

Buying direct from BLUETTI does double duty on this unit. It's what turns the warranty into the full term, and it's the purchase route BLUETTI's own support record favors. A discounted reseller unit can quietly cost you both.

All BLUETTI power stations tested →

Analyst note

Two 5-year terms that don't behave the same way. EcoFlow's is the flat number on our record; BLUETTI's is the conditional maximum, which lands exactly where the brand's support story already points — buy direct or register, because reseller purchases carry a shorter term and a messier claim. The awkward symmetry is year six: EcoFlow offers no parts or service out of warranty, and BLUETTI's older models can become unrepairable for want of spares. Whichever you buy, the warranty is the service plan rather than the floor of one.

DELTA Pro 3AC200P L

Analyst note

Both expand, but the DELTA Pro 3's higher solar ceiling (2,600W vs 1,200W) gives it the stronger off-grid growth path — more panels can feed a bigger bank as it grows.

What Owners Report

Patterns from published owner reports and long-term reviews — every claim cited to its source below.

EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3

What we hold on the DELTA Pro 3 is review-desk coverage rather than long-term ownership — the file is built from established review sites and retailer listings, not from people who've had one through a winterA0. Within that limit it's consistent: the fast-charge claim is 0-80% in about 50 minutes on up to 7,000W of combined input, with a full charge around 90 minutesA3, the pack is described as rated to 4,000+ cycles to 80% capacity with an IP65 battery ratingA2, and our review sources treat it as the reference whole-home backup unit for 2026A4. Nothing in the file speaks to how it behaves in year three, which is exactly what a 4,000-cycle rating is promising.

“4,096Wh LFP battery with 4,000W continuous AC output (6,000W with X-Boost) and dual-voltage 120V/240V, expandable to 48kWh.”

BLUETTI AC200P L

The field record does not test this unit. Our BLUETTI file covers the classic AC200P, a 2,000Wh and 2,000W box, where the AC200P L on this page is a 2,304Wh and 2,400W listing with a different solar ceiling and a different surge figure — a different product wearing a familiar nameB0. So read the sentiment and not the specs: the AC200P line draws strong satisfaction and a value reputation across a large Amazon review baseB1, gets framed as more usable power per dollar than its rivals rather than the lightest or the quickest to chargeB3, and carries scattered reports of defective units that BLUETTI's support resolvedB4. Every one of those is flagged in our own file as possibly describing a sibling SKUB0.

One entry puts the cells at over 3,500 life cyclesB2 where our spec record carries 3,000, and that mismatch is the clearest evidence of the problem: the source is describing a different battery. Take the 3,000 from the record, and treat everything above as the character of a product line rather than a report on this box.

“Owners largely love it — around 4.5 stars across 890+ Amazon reviews for the AC200P line, praised for high capacity, feature count, and easy solar-panel connection.”

Who Should Buy Which

Buy the DELTA Pro 3 if you…

  • →You're backing up a house and something in it runs on 240V — a well pump, a dryer, a window unit on its own circuit. The AC200P L's record shows no 240V outlets at all, so this stops being a comparison and becomes a requirement.
  • →Your outages run past one evening. The DELTA Pro 3 comes out of an eight-hour blackout with more than half its usable energy untouched and takes more than twice the solar input, so day two is a sunny morning rather than a problem.
  • →You have a spot picked out and a second pair of hands for one afternoon. Get it into position once and the weight stops being a spec and becomes furniture.

Buy the AC200P L if you…

  • →The unit has a job outside the house. Tailgates, job sites, a truck bed that isn't always in the same driveway — the AC200P L is the only one of these two that shows up.
  • →You want a single evening of blackout covered: lights, router, a fridge cycling, phones on the counter. It finishes that night with energy left over, which is all you asked it to do, and nothing on that list wants 240V.
  • →Nobody in the house can help with a two-person lift. That's a real constraint, and it ends the argument rather than being something to feel bad about.

If neither fits

If your day looks like the van-life profile — 4,685Wh between one sunrise and the next — neither of these finishes it. The DELTA Pro 3 covers about 74% and the AC200P L 42%, and the answer isn't a bigger portable, it's a wired house bank with alternator and roof charging feeding it. Going the other way: if all you need is a CPAP overnight, that's 320Wh, which is 9% of the DELTA Pro 3's usable energy and 16% of the AC200P L's. You'd be buying years of headroom you will never discharge. Look at the small end of the category and spend the rest on panels.

08

The Bottom Line

Take the DELTA Pro 3 if the unit has a permanent address. It wins the three scenarios that happen at home, it's the only one of the two with 240V outlets, and it costs the same per kilowatt-hour across its life as the smaller box, so the money that looks like a premium is just a larger purchase at the same rate.

Take the AC200P L if the box has to move, and don't treat that as settling. It's a solo lift, it covers a night of outage with energy to spare, and the one thing it can't quite do — a full unassisted weekend in the woods — a panel fixes. The DELTA Pro 3's version of that problem is that it can't come at all, and there's no accessory for weight.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers drawn from the spec record and cited owner research.

Is the DELTA Pro 3 worth the extra over the BLUETTI AC200P L?

Per unit of energy it's neither worth it nor not — across their rated lives the two land within a cent of each other per kilowatt-hour, so you're buying quantity rather than quality. The question that actually decides it is where the unit lives. The DELTA Pro 3 gets installed somewhere and stays; the AC200P L travels. If it has to travel, the DELTA Pro 3's advantages never arrive.

Can the BLUETTI AC200P L run a 240V appliance like a well pump or a dryer?

No. Our record shows zero 240V outlets on the AC200P L against two on the DELTA Pro 3. Both do list a 30A RV outlet, so for an RV pedestal they're comparable. But a 240V well pump or dryer circuit is a DELTA Pro 3 job or nobody's, and no amount of surge rating changes that.

Does the 6,000W surge rating mean the DELTA Pro 3 starts appliances the AC200P L can't?

Not the way the number suggests. Both peaks sit at exactly 1.5x their rated output — 6,000W over 4,000W and 3,600W over 2,400W — and the DELTA Pro 3's is attributed in our research file to EcoFlow's X-Boost rather than to a measured motor start. Compare the continuous ratings instead: 4,000W against 2,400W. That gap is real, published the same way on both sides, and it's what a compressor sees once it's running.

How many years will each battery actually last?

The DELTA Pro 3 is rated for 4,000 cycles and the AC200P L for 3,000, which works out to roughly 11 years against 8.2 at one cycle a day, or 38 against 29 years at weekend use. Both are minimums rather than expiry dates — at the cycle limit the pack settles to about 80% of its original capacity and keeps working. If you're comparing across sizes, count lifetime energy instead of years: a cycle is 4,096Wh on one and 2,304Wh on the other.

Which one should I take camping for a weekend?

The AC200P L, because the DELTA Pro 3 isn't going. On our weekend profile the AC200P L gets about 93% of the way through a 2,100Wh weekend on one charge, a shortfall of 142Wh — one panel afternoon, or one evening of being slightly careful with the kettle. The DELTA Pro 3 would cover the same weekend with room left over, which is academic at 112.4 lbs.
