74.3 lbs: Fine Until There Are Stairs

74.3 lbs against the Explorer's 38.6 is the difference between positioning a unit and carrying one. On flat ground and a tailgate, one person manages it with both hands and bent knees. Basement stairs, a boat, or fifty yards of soft sand and you want help or a different unit. Decide this before you buy, because it's the one thing about this unit that never improves with a firmware update.

Sealed at 1,536Wh: a Size, Not a Flaw

The Explorer is a closed 1,536Wh box and the DELTA takes EcoFlow expansion batteries on top of 3,072Wh. Before pricing that as an advantage, notice that the DELTA already holds twice what the Explorer does before a single extra battery is added. Across most of the gap between these two, expansion is beside the point, because the base capacity already settled it. Expansion earns its keep only at the far end, past 3,072Wh, and that's a much smaller group of buyers than the card suggests.
