The DJI has one argument and it's a good one. 28.7 lbs against 50.7 lbs is the difference between carrying a box and staging a lift, and reviewers put the Power 1000 among the quietest stations in its class, with sound only becoming noticeable past 1,500WB1. One test ran it at 2,400W, above its own 2,200W rating, for twenty minutes with no shutdownB2. This is not a weak unit. It's a small one.
One thing to settle before you click buy: which Power 1000 you're being sold. The Power 1000 is sealed and the DELTA 3 Max accepts expansion batteries. That's a real advantage, and a narrower one than it sounds. Sealed at 1,024Wh isn't a feature withheld from a one-kilowatt-hour station; it's what one looks like finished. Expansion only pays if you already believe 2,048Wh won't be enough, and if you believe that, price the expansion battery now rather than counting an empty socket as capacity you own.
UPS Switchover: 10ms vs 20ms
The DELTA 3 Max is rated to switch to battery in 10ms and the Power 1000 in 20ms. Both are rated figures rather than measurements, and the difference between them is one hundredth of a second. If you're running a desktop, a router or a NAS off either of these, the switchover spec is not what will decide it. How long the battery lasts once the switch has happened is.

Both units carry the same 5-year warranty, so coverage isn't a tiebreaker here.
