It's gone from EcoFlow's own store and from our price tracking, and while some retailer stock may linger, it isn't a unit we'll recommend buying, which leaves the BLUETTI AC50B at $399 as the only live option on this page. EcoFlow names the DELTA 3 Classic as the Air's replacement.
That changes the question. The Air's specs are still true, and they say the AC50B is not a like-for-like swap: 448Wh against 960Wh, less than half the battery. It clears a CPAP night with room to spare and runs out partway through a tailgate the Air finished. If your loads live under that line, the AC50B is the buy. If you came here for the Air's size, the DELTA 3 Classic is the page you want.
What the AC50B does better is worth naming up front: 65W from USB-C where the Air stops at 18W, 700W continuous against 500W, 14.8 lbs against 22, and up to 5 years of cover with registration against 2. The honest catch is a desk. It has one AC outlet to the Air's three and a switchover rated no worse than 20ms against no worse than 10ms. Laptop and router, fine. The AC50B's 700W continuous beats the Air's 500W, so it runs loads in the 500W-to-700W band the Air refused, but with 381Wh behind it a 700W load is a half-hour session. More inverter on less battery: the punchier box and the shorter-winded one. Its surge headroom is unpublished, so size a motor load against the 700W rating rather than hoping for more.
What the Specs Don't Tell You
Selected because: The AC50B's 65W USB-C port and its up-to-five-year term are its best cards; a switchover rated no worse than 20ms is its catch at a desk.
The USB-C card is the AC50B's cleanest win: 65W against 18W, the difference between charging a laptop from one cable and topping up a phone. The warranty card is the other. Up to 5 years with registration against 2, and on a model EcoFlow no longer sells, the Air's 2 years end with no out-of-warranty parts or service behind them.
The catch is the UPS card. The AC50B is rated no worse than 20ms and the Air no worse than 10ms, and the fussiest desktop power supplies sit right at that 20ms line. Since the Air was built to guard a deskA2, that's the one job where the AC50B is a step down rather than a swap. Power Lifting runs resistive loads like a kettle up to 1,000W at reduced power, and does nothing for a compressor.

AC50B: Power Lifting to 1,000W
The AC50B has BLUETTI's Power Lifting mode, which runs a resistive appliance rated up to 1,000W from its 700W inverter. It does that by delivering less power than the appliance asks for, not more than the inverter has: the heater still works, it just heats more slowly. Two things follow. BLUETTI scopes the mode to purely resistive loads — a heater, a kettle, an incandescent lamp — so it does nothing for a fridge compressor, a pump or a power tool, and this record publishes no surge figure at all, so read the mode as a resistive-load feature rather than as starting ability. And it is not a reason to size down, because running a load that big from 448Wh is a short session either way.
