Buy the Elite 100 V2. It has twice the Wh, a real surge cushion where the Power 500 has none, wins the two scenarios that split at all (CPAP Overnight, Tailgate Party), and because the $200 premium buys capacity at a cheaper rate than either unit charges on its own, it also works out to less per kWh delivered over its life: $0.12 against the Power 500's $0.15.
