Unknown, honestly. The C300 publishes 25dB, roughly a whisper; Jackery lists no noise figure for the v2 at all. Don't assume the silent spec sheet means the quieter unit, because you only find out after purchase.
Do I lose anything important by choosing the cheaper C300?
A little cycle life and one pound. The C300 is rated for 3,000 cycles against the v2's 4,000 and weighs 9.1 lbs to the v2's 8.1. For occasional use, neither difference is likely to matter before you've moved on to a bigger unit.
