Only if you need the extra 3,994Wh, the gap between 12,288Wh and 8,294. That premium buys capacity and nothing else: the Apex stack is rated for more continuous output (3,840W against 3,000W), a faster transfer to battery (≤10ms against ≤20ms), a year more warranty, and 6,000 cycles against 3,500. If your heaviest day is an outage or a long work-from-home stretch, you will finish it with most of either battery untouched, and the cheaper one will still be cycling years after the other has hit its rating.
Is the Apex 300 + 2×B300K worth $1,800 more than the DELTA Pro?
If it stays in one place, yes. The extra money works out to less per watt-hour than the DELTA Pro charges for its own energy, and it's the difference between finishing a 4,685Wh day and coming up 1,625Wh short of it. If the unit has to travel, no amount of capacity fixes 213.9 lbs, and the DELTA Pro is the better $1,899.
