What's the actual difference between the Anker SOLIX C800 and C800 Plus?
Electrically, nothing. Both are 768Wh, 1200W with a 1600W surge, 300W solar, 3,000 cycles, a 5-year warranty, and about 24 lbs, with runtimes that tie down to the tenth of an hour. The Plus costs $50 more and adds one thing, a retractable pole with integrated camping lights, which takes the place of the base model's top storage cubby.
Is the Anker SOLIX C800 just a bigger version of the 535 PowerHouse?
Not really. It does hold more — 768Wh against 512Wh, 256Wh more — but the bigger changes are a 20-millisecond transfer switch for UPS-style backup, phone-app control, and solar input up to 300W against the 535's 120W ceiling. None of those existed on the 535 at any capacity.
Is the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic cheaper than the Anker SOLIX C800?
Yes, and it wasn't always this way. As of this writing the DELTA 3 Classic is $469 and the SOLIX C800 is $599, a $130 gap in EcoFlow's favor. It also holds more capacity and pushes more output, so there's no longer a price argument for the C800.

Only in narrow cases. It's $599 against the DELTA 3 Classic's $469 while holding less capacity, pushing less output, running louder, and offering no expansion path. The honest reasons left to pick it are Anker's cleaner recall history and 2.9 fewer pounds to carry, though the C800's own reviewers still call it too heavy for hiking [B12] — real, but thin next to $130.
RIVER 2 Pro or SOLIX C800 — same capacity, which is the better buy?
For most buyers, the RIVER 2 Pro. It now stores the identical 768Wh for about $250 less and is 6.6 lbs lighter. The C800 counters with 400W more continuous output, more solar, a faster switchover, and a quieter fan under load — worth it only if you'll actually use them.
