The ratio says how much headroom an inverter keeps above its own rating; the ceiling says how big a startup spike it can actually swallow. The RIVER 3 (3,000 cycles): 8.2 years daily, 29 years weekends, or 125 years twice-monthly. What most people miss: hitting the cycle limit doesn't kill your battery. Capacity drops to about 80%. Your 512Wh unit becomes a ~410Wh unit. Still very usable. For weekend users, both batteries will outlast the warranty by years.

Is EcoFlow or DJI more reliable for long-term ownership?
