EcoFlow DELTA 3000 Gen4 vs Anker SOLIX S2000The Smaller Battery Is Rated to Outlast It. So Why Step Up?
The S2000 is rated to deliver more energy over its life than the DELTA 4 (3000), for a fraction of the price. I'd buy the S2000, unless something you run needs more than its 1,500 W.

Gunnerβs take
Whole-Home Backup Tester
The step from 2 kWh to 3 kWh buys less battery than it looks like.
The DELTA 4 (3000) holds about half again the SOLIX S2000's capacity. But Anker rates the S2000 for 10,000 cycles and EcoFlow rates the DELTA 4 (3000) for 6,000, so over each rated life the smaller box hands over more energy, 20,096 kWh against 18,432 kWh.
What the Numbers Reveal
Each conclusion stated first β the numbers behind it on one line, the full analysis below.
rated cycles
Spread each price over that lifetime energy and the S2000 comes to $0.03 a kWh against $0.09. Cycled once a day, the DELTA 4 (3000) reaches its rating in 16.4 years and the S2000 in 27.4. For a box that works every day on solar, the cheap one is also the longer-lived battery.
SOLIX S2000: 2,009.6 Wh, rated for 10,000 cyclesDELTA 4 (3000): 3,072 Wh, rated for 6,000 cyclesA9$1,699 against $700
Why it mattersIf you'll cycle it daily, stay with the S2000. Stepping up buys fewer lifetime kilowatt-hours, not more.
continuous output
Under 1,500 W, a fridge, a furnace blower, the router and lights all run on the S2000 with room left. Past it, the S2000 can't carry the load at all. A well pump starting while the fridge runs, a big shop tool, or a microwave and a coffee maker going together is where the DELTA 4 (3000) earns its price.
SOLIX S2000: 1,500 W continuous, 3,000 W surgeDELTA 4 (3000): 3,600 W continuous, 7,200 W surge, 120 VA2DELTA 4 (3000): four outlets rated 20 A and one rated 30 AA3
Why it mattersAdd up what runs at the same moment. If it stays under 1,500 W, the S2000's inverter is all you need.
solar input
The DELTA 4 (3000) ends the same night with enough for 59% of a second one, and from 1,000 W of panels it can take back its whole battery in about three hours of strong sun. In an outage that runs into a third day on solar, that's the difference between keeping pace and falling behind. It only counts if you own that much panel or will buy it.
SOLIX S2000: 400 W solar inputDELTA 4 (3000): 1,000 W solar input on one port, 11 to 60 VA58-Hour Blackout: the S2000 ends the night with 63 Wh left, the DELTA 4 (3000) with 966 Wh
Why it mattersIf you're planning for multi-day outages on solar, the DELTA 4 (3000) keeps up. For one-night outages, the S2000 covers it.
The specific dimensions that decide these two units β everything else is a tie.
Your Life, Your Pick
Selected because: The S2000 falls 392 Wh short of the 2,100 Wh weekend and ends the 1,645 Wh blackout with 63 Wh left.
The extra battery shows up on the long days. The S2000 runs out 392 Wh short of the 2,100 Wh camping weekend, and it gets through the blackout night with 63 Wh to spare. The DELTA 4 (3000) finishes both with room left over.
On the short days, the S2000 does the same job. A CPAP night, a remote workday and a tailgate all fit inside it with plenty left. I'd pick the S2000 for any of those and spend the difference on panels.
Lifetime Value
Selected because: 10,000 rated cycles against 6,000, so the smaller battery delivers more energy over its rated life.
cost / lifetime kWh
The cheaper box is also the cheaper battery to own. Spread each price over the energy its rated cycles deliver and the S2000 comes to $0.03 a kWh against $0.09 for the DELTA 4 (3000). The cycle ratings do most of that work: 10,000 against 6,000.
It only counts if you cycle it. A box that sits charged in the hall closet waiting for storm season will never get near either rating. One that runs off solar every day reaches the DELTA 4 (3000)'s rating in 16.4 years, when the S2000 still has more than a decade left.
Portability & Form Factor
Selected because: 35.7 lb against 57.3 lb, for about half again the battery.
weight
The lighter box is the awkward one to carry. The S2000 weighs 35.7 lb, but one reviewer wanted a second handle for stairsB7 and another missed a proper one-hand gripB8. The DELTA 4 (3000) weighs 57.3 lb with a handle at each endA7.
I'd still rather carry the S2000. An awkward grip on a light box beats a good grip on a heavy one, and the DELTA 4 (3000) is a bent-knees lift into the trunk. For camping, I'd take the lighter one.
Growth Path
Selected because: Neither takes an extra battery, so the capacity you buy is the capacity you keep.
solar input
Neither box grows, so the size you pick is final. EcoFlow left the DELTA 4 (3000) without an extra-battery portA6, and the S2000 is sealed too. Whatever you buy is the ceiling you live with.
So size for your worst outage, not your average one. If one night is the worst you expect, the S2000 already covers it. The DELTA 4 (3000) ends that night with enough for 59% of a second, so if two dark nights in a row worry you, you want a box that takes batteries, like the bigger DELTA 4.

Conclusion
November 4, 2026
Verdict: the Anker SOLIX S2000
I'd buy the S2000, unless something you run pulls more than 1,500 W. The DELTA 4 (3000) holds 3,072 Wh against 2,009.6 Wh, but it's sealed like the S2000 and rated for 6,000 cycles against 10,000, so over its rated life it delivers less energy and costs $0.09 a kWh against $0.03. What the step up buys is a 3,600 W inverter against 1,500 W, 1,000 W of solar input against 400 W, and a blackout night that ends with 966 Wh left instead of 63 Wh. If your loads cross 1,500 W or your outages run past one night, the DELTA 4 (3000) earns its price. Otherwise it ships in early DecemberA10 for a job the S2000 already does today.

Each unit's star score is a category ranking, not customer reviews β no buyer opinions feed it. We score every station on size-independent quality (value, output, portability, endurance, ports, warranty, and more), then percentile-rank it against the other units in its capacity class, so a class-leading compact unit and a class-leading whole-home unit can both earn 5β . Here, DELTA 3000 Gen4 rates 4.8/5 (86th percentile of 29 Large-class units), and SOLIX S2000 rates 4.9/5 (96th percentile of 29 Large-class units).
How the class ranking is computed βTest Notes & Caveats
Hidden gotchas and advantages we spotted that you won't find on the product page.
Warranty: No Difference
Both units carry the same 5-year warranty, so coverage isn't a tiebreaker here. The DELTA 3000 Gen4's figure is a maximum rather than a guarantee β it depends on registering the unit in the EcoFlow app, which adds two years to a three-year standard term. Worth saying because the per-dollar framing can suggest otherwise: the SOLIX S2000 works out at 7.1 years of cover per $1,000 spent against the DELTA 3000 Gen4's 2.9, but that spread is the price gap, not the terms.
The Smaller Battery Delivers More
The S2000 is rated for 10,000 cycles and the DELTA 4 (3000) for 6,000. Each S2000 cycle moves less energy, so count kilowatt-hours: 20,096 kWh against 18,432 kWh over each rated life. Cycled daily, that's 27.4 years against 16.4.

Largest in portable power β 12-15 models across DELTA Pro, DELTA 3, and RIVER 3 series, plus solar panels and smart home panels
Support
US-based phone/email/chat support (1-800-368-8604). Experiences are polarized β many report hassle-free prepaid-label replacements, but others report long waits and refurbished units sent for new claims. Pro tip: buying from Costco or Amazon gives you a stronger return safety net.

Unique strength
Fastest-charging technology (X-Stream), deepest product ecosystem, and most active innovation cadence. At the top of the range sit two whole-home paths: the TITAN line, one 5 kWh unit that grows to 30 kWh, and the DELTA Pro Ultra platform, which stacks batteries and inverters further β flagship paths, not line-wide features.

Support
US-based support. Historically known for incredible no-hassle replacements, but recent reports describe AI-driven support agents giving generic responses and complex return logistics for heavy units (hazmat shipping). The Anker brand reputation is still strong, but SOLIX-specific support quality is trending down.

App experience
Rated 4.5/5 iOS (~1,100 ratings) Β· 4.3/5 Android
Unique strength
Parent brand trust from Anker's consumer electronics dominance. InfiniPower technology for long cycle life. Strong $/Wh value in the mid-size and larger units β the S2000, F2600 and C1000 are among the better buys per watt-hour in the catalog.
Worth knowing
Support quality appears to be declining from its historically excellent level. Firmware updates have removed features without warning. Expansion ecosystem is smaller than EcoFlow's.
Analyst note
EcoFlow positions itself as a mid-to-premium brand with stronger support infrastructure, while Anker competes on value. The question is whether the EcoFlow ecosystem and support premium is worth it for your use case.

Who Should Buy Which
Buy the DELTA 3000 Gen4 if youβ¦
- βSomething you run pulls more than 1,500 W. The DELTA 4 (3000) runs 3,600 W and surges to 7,200 WA2.
- βYour outages run into a second night. It ends the 1,645 Wh blackout night with 966 Wh left, against 63 Wh.
- βYou'll recharge from serious solar. It takes 1,000 W on one input at 11 to 60 VA5, against the S2000's 400 W.
- βYou camp whole weekends on one charge. It covers the 2,100 Wh weekend, where the S2000 falls 392 Wh short.
Buy the SOLIX S2000 if youβ¦
- βYour loads stay under 1,500 W. A fridge, the router, lights and a CPAP all fit, for a fraction of the price.
- βIt will cycle every day. Rated for 10,000 cycles against 6,000, the smaller battery delivers more lifetime energy.
- βYou'll carry it. 35.7 lb against 57.3 lb.
- βYou need it before December. The S2000 is on sale now, and EcoFlow ships the DELTA 4 (3000) in early DecemberA10.
If neither fits
If your day looks like Van Life Daily, skip both. That day needs 4,685 Wh, neither holds it, and neither takes an extra battery. Look at a station with an expansion port, like the bigger DELTA 4.
The Bottom Line
For a 2 kWh job, I'd buy the S2000. It's rated to deliver more energy over its life than the DELTA 4 (3000), it's the lighter box to haul, and it costs a fraction as much.
Step up only for the inverter. If something you run pulls past 1,500 W, or your outages run into a second night, the DELTA 4 (3000) is the one that keeps going. Otherwise the step up buys a sealed battery rated for fewer cycles.
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers drawn from the spec record and cited owner research.
How much is the DELTA 4 (3000) in the US, and when does it ship?
EcoFlow lists it at $1,699 on its US store. It went on sale on November 4, 2026, and EcoFlow says it ships in early December. The SOLIX S2000 sells for $700 and is on sale now.
Is the DELTA 4 (3000) worth it over the Anker SOLIX S2000?
Only if you need its inverter. It runs 3,600 W against the S2000's 1,500 W and holds 3,072 Wh against 2,009.6 Wh. The S2000 is rated for 10,000 cycles against 6,000, so it delivers more energy over its rated life for a fraction of the price.
Can I add a battery to the DELTA 4 (3000) or the SOLIX S2000?
No. Neither has an extra-battery port, so 3,072 Wh and 2,009.6 Wh are their ceilings. EcoFlow offers expansion only on the bigger DELTA 4.
Which one charges faster from solar?
The DELTA 4 (3000). It accepts 1,000 W on one input at 11 to 60 V, against 400 W for the SOLIX S2000. With enough panels it refills in about three hours of strong sun, while the S2000 needs about five.
How many years will each battery last?
At one full cycle a day, the SOLIX S2000 reaches its 10,000-cycle rating in 27.4 years. The DELTA 4 (3000) is rated for 6,000 cycles, or 16.4 years at the same pace. Neither battery stops at its rating; it just holds less.
