The Jackery Explorer 1500 Ultra wins this one on capability: 1,800W of continuous output against the DELTA 3 1000 Air's 500W, 1,536Wh of capacity against 960Wh, and a 100W USB-C port against 18W. None of that gap is a brand-markup trick — the DELTA 3 1000 Air was built as a light-duty office UPS, not a general-purpose power station, and EcoFlow has already discontinued it in favor of the more capable standard DELTA 3A4.

Run both through six real-world scenarios and the pattern holds. Neither gets through a full weekend of camping, an 8-hour blackout, or a day of van life on one charge, though the Explorer comes markedly closer each time. The DELTA can't even finish a single remote workday on a charge: its 960Wh tank beats the 910Wh a workday needs by only 50Wh, a margin thin enough that ordinary inverter losses erase it. Only a CPAP night and a tailgate afternoon fall within the DELTA's reach, and the Explorer still wins both — not on capacity, but on how much cushion is left over once the job is done.

None of this makes the DELTA a bad buy.
