Yeti Link lets you chain batteries for more capacity, but it needs extra cables and adapters to actually use, and the base unit underneath is still a 500-cycle battery costing more per watt-hour than the sealed DJI's. For most buyers, sealed-but-stronger beats expandable-but-weaker.
Is DJI new to power stations a real risk?
It's a fair question — the Power 1000 line is about two years old versus Goal Zero's much longer track record. But DJI is running its established drone-business repair network and 700-plus battery patents behind it, and early reviews are strongly positive on build and reliability, while Goal Zero's own support has been slipping in recent reports.
