The BLUETTI Elite 300 carries 3,014Wh. The DJI Power 1000 carries 1,024Wh. That's not a trim difference — it's nearly 3x the energy in a box that costs less than twice as much, $1,199 against $699. Run either one against an 8-hour blackout, a full remote workday, or a weekend of camping, and the Elite finishes all three. The Power 1000 finishes none of them.

The Power 1000's argument isn't runtime. At 28.7 lbs it's barely half the Elite's 58 — genuinely a single-person, single-trip unit — and reviewers consistently single out how quiet it runs even pushed past its ratingB1B2. That's a real, coherent pitch, and a $699 one, not a bargain: per lifetime kilowatt-hour it costs more than double what the Elite does, so you're paying a premium for less weight and a quieter roomB1, not saving money to get either.

The Elite switches to battery in under 10ms, a line-interactive response fast enough for desktop PCs, routers, and CPAP machines without a hiccup. The Power 1000 takes under 20ms, still fast enough for nearly everything except sensitive server-grade gear. Neither is the wrong choice for a typical home office or bedroom setup.
