The Goal Zero Yeti 3000X wins five of the six real-world scenarios tested on this page, and the sixth is a near-miss instead of a rout. The BLUETTI Elite 30 V2 loses all six. Even its closest call is still short: a night on CPAP needs about 320Wh, and the Elite holds 288.

That's despite the Elite being the far better deal on paper. It costs roughly 7 times less per lifetime kilowatt-hour than the Yeti, because its LiFePO4 cells are rated for 3,000 charge cycles against the Yeti's 500. That gap is real, and it matters to anyone who plans to run either unit hard, every day, for years. It just isn't the number that decides this comparison, because a cheap kilowatt-hour you can't fit inside a 288Wh box doesn't get you through a blackout.

This is less a head-to-head than two different tools that happen to share a search result. The Elite is a $239 grab-and-go charger for phones, cameras, and a laptop. The Yeti can add Goal Zero's Tank batteries for real headroom the Elite has no path to, though the Tank runs on lead-acid, a heavier and less energy-dense way to store power than the lithium already inside either unit, so it's a genuine option rather than a clean one.
