So this comes down to a question you have to answer before you read another line. What's the biggest single session you'll ask it for? Whether that matters depends entirely on how fast you get through the cycles. Run it down every day and the Goal Zero's rated life is spent before its second birthday, while the BLUETTI still has most of its own ahead. Run it a dozen times a year for storms and the Yeti's 500 cycles will comfortably outlast your interest in it, and this whole column stops being an argument.

A six-year warranty is a promise from a support desk, and BLUETTI's is the least predictable in the category: email-first, running on China time, with outcomes that swing from efficient to weeks of runaround or an offer of a discount on a new unit in place of a repair. Buying direct from BLUETTI rather than through a marketplace tends to produce the smoother claim, and on a promise that long it's worth the extra step.

Goal Zero used to be the answer to that problem. US company, Salt Lake City, real heritage in this market. That argument has weakened: support response times slipped through 2025 and 2026 and the official community forums are gone, so the premium price now buys a US address and a good reputation rather than a better outcome when something breaks. Take the AC60P if your heaviest single session fits inside 428 usable watt-hours and 600W of draw: a CPAP, phones, laptops, lights, a small fridge overnight. At $749 it's rated for 3,000 cycles against the Yeti's 500, covered for six years against two, and light enough to carry in one hand. If your session doesn't fit, nothing on this page argues it into fitting, and the Yeti 1500X is the only one of the two that does the work. It takes the remote workday and the tailgate outright on three times the usable energy. This isn't a slow-switchover story. The X-series Yeti has no UPS function at all, so anything plugged into it drops when wall power does.
