The 200X can't grow and we don't count it against the unit. At 5 lb there's nothing coherent to expand into and no reason to want it; this is a complete small product, not a truncated large one. The C2000's expansion port earns its keep for a reason the spec table won't show you: its own margin on the eight-hour blackout is thinner than a 2,048Wh badge suggests.

Only One of These Stays On When the Power Doesn't

The C2000 Gen 2 switches to battery in 10ms, fast enough that a router, a modem or a desktop never notices the cut. Goal Zero's X-series has no UPS mode, so the 200X backs a device up only in the sense that you can plug it in again afterwards. That's the difference between a backup and a spare.

If your weekend genuinely looks like the 2,100Wh camping profile or the 4,685Wh van day, close both tabs. The C2000 covers 83% of the first and 37% of the second, and 83% of a weekend is still a dark Sunday. What you want is a 3kWh-class station, or this Anker with an expansion battery bought on day one instead of after the first bad night. At the other end of the range: if your list is only phones and a headlamp, a USB power bank does that job for a fraction of $220 with no inverter involved, and neither of these units is the right purchase.

Take the C2000 Gen 2 unless you can list every watt you'll draw and the list stays under 120W. The Yeti isn't beaten so much as it's answering a different question, and it answers that one well in five pounds.
