The Elite 30 V2 can't finish a night of CPAP. That single fact organizes the whole comparison: 320Wh of overnight breathing against 245Wh of usable pack, which gets you about three-quarters of the way to your alarm. Nameplate 288Wh makes it look survivable, and it isn't. Even before the inverter derate the unit is 32Wh short; after it, 75Wh short.

The Pioneer Na clears that bar and a few above it, for $899 against $239. It's BLUETTI's sodium-ion unit, which is the genuinely interesting thing about it: a pack rated for 4,000 cycles that charges and discharges in deep sub-freezing cold lithium can't match, and that claim held up when someone took it outsideB2. It's also 37 pounds where the Elite is 10.3.

The Pioneer Na's 45 dBA against the Elite 30 V2's 30 is the difference between a 1,500W inverter's fan and a 600W one's, and both figures are class ratings rather than numbers taken off a meter. Read it as the bigger unit having a fan you'll notice, and nothing more precise than that. Real consideration if the station sleeps in the bedroom. Not something that should outvote 765Wh against 245Wh.

Pioneer Na: Charges Below Freezing

The Pioneer Na uses sodium-ion cells, which keep accepting a charge in sub-freezing cold. Lithium batteries (LiFePO4 and NMC) can't — charging below ~32°F/0°C plates lithium and permanently damages the cells, so the Elite 30 V2 has to warm up first. A genuine edge for cold-climate cabins, winter van life, and unheated-garage backup.

  • Your camping list is phones, lights, a laptop and a kettle for an afternoon, and the whole day lands under 245Wh.

  • Something on your list runs all night. A 320Wh CPAP fits inside 765Wh twice over, which is two nights before you need a wall or the sun.
  • The unit will live somewhere cold. Unheated garage, ice-fishing shack, winter cabin: the sodium-ion pack charges and discharges in sub-freezing conditions lithium can't matchB2.
  • You need 1,500W continuous for a tool or an appliance, briefly. About half an hour of it, at 765Wh.

If what you actually need is a weekend of camping (2,100Wh), an evening-long outage (1,645Wh), or van life (4,685Wh a day), close this tab. Can either one run a 1,500W appliance?
