The Explorer 300 stops at 300W of continuous output, and that one figure settles most of this page. A 400W load will start on its 500W surge and then get handed back to the 300W rating, which can't hold it. So the Elite 100 V2's 1,800W isn't a nicer version of the same capability. It's a different capability.

What the $240 gap buys is 1,024Wh instead of 293, four AC outlets instead of two, 1,000W of solar input instead of 100, USB-C at 140W instead of 60, and a UPS transfer rated no worse than 10ms where the Explorer 300 lists no UPS mode at all. Where it bites is when the unit isn't in the room: no app means no remote check on state of charge and no low-battery alert when the Explorer 300 is out in the truck or under a bench. The Elite 100 V2 reports all of that to your phone, alerts included.

Elite 100 V2: Power Lifting to 2,700W

The Elite 100 V2 has BLUETTI's Power Lifting mode, which runs a resistive appliance rated up to 2,700W from its 1,800W inverter. It does that by delivering less power than the appliance asks for, not more than the inverter has: the heater still works, it just heats more slowly. Two things follow. BLUETTI scopes the mode to purely resistive loads — a heater, a kettle, an incandescent lamp — so it does nothing for a fridge compressor, a pump or a power tool, and this record publishes no surge figure at all, so read the mode as a resistive-load feature rather than as starting ability. And it is not a reason to size down, because running a load that big from 1,024Wh is a short session either way. Genuinely useful if a heater or a kettle is why you're buying; beside the point otherwise. The Explorer 300 publishes no equivalent.
