EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries vs EcoFlow TITAN 5000 Plus
EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries vs EcoFlow TITAN 5000 Plus: both deliver 7,200W from battery, but the bundle holds 18,432Wh to the Plus's 5,017.6Wh. Buy the bundle for long outages; take the Plus only if you need its 41.7A circuit with grid or solar power flowing in, or fast refills between short outages.

Spec deltas
Pull the grid and the TITAN 5000 Plus is a 7,200 W battery, which is exactly what the DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries is. EcoFlow's own label spells it out: 10 kW total, 7,200 W for discharge onlyB1. The rest of that headline is grid power passing through, the one thing a blackout takes away.
The 8 kW on its displayB5 needs a source too. The AC IN/OUT port charges at up to 7,660 W from a 120/240 V supplyB15, enough to refill the 5,017.6 Wh pack in well under an hour (5,017.6 ÷ 7,660). That's superb with 240 V coming in. Without it, the Plus refills from the sun at up to 8,000 WB4, against the bundle's 5,600 W, though into a far smaller bank.
So the Plus is built for turnaround and the bundle for endurance. The bundle holds 18,432 Wh and costs $7,999; the Plus holds 5,017.6 Wh and costs $3,699. If your outages run long, the bundle is the purchase. If they're short and the grid keeps coming back, the Plus's quick refill and the $4,300 you keep make a real case.
What the Numbers Reveal
Each conclusion stated first — the numbers behind it on one line, the full analysis below.
The bigger outlet is a grid-on feature. In an outage, a big 240 V load on the Plus has the same 7,200 W behind it as it would on the bundle, and a little over a quarter of the stored energy to draw from.
TITAN 5000 Plus: 10 kW total output, 7,200 W for discharge onlyB1TITAN 5000 Plus: 120/240 V split-phase at 41.7 AB2DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries: 7,200 W continuous output
Why it mattersIf the 41.7 A circuit is why you want the Plus, make sure that circuit's job happens with the grid up, not during the blackout.
solar input
When the grid flickers back between storms, the Plus is full again before dinner. When the grid stays down, it's on 8,000 W of solar, ahead of the bundle's 5,600 W, but filling a bank 13,414.4 Wh smaller.
Plus AC IN/OUT: up to 7,660 W charge-only from 120/240 V inputB15Plus display: 8.00 kW inB5Plus solar: 40–450 V, 8,000 W total across 2 inputsB4Plus wall inlet: 100–120 V, 15 A maxB9DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries solar: 5,600 W
Why it mattersRolling, short outages favor the Plus; a storm that takes the grid for days favors the bundle.
Growing it fixes the tank but not the solar input. Six packs refill from the 240 V port in about four hours (30,105.6 ÷ 7,660), but with the grid down they lean on the same 8,000 W of panels as one. The bigger the Plus gets, the more its best feature depends on the grid being up.
8-hour blackout load, 1,645 Wh: Plus 39% used, bundle 10%4,685 Wh day: Plus 420 Wh short; bundle 10,982 Wh to sparePlus expands to 30,105.6 Wh across six packsB8
Why it mattersAnyone planning a big Plus bank for long outages should count solar watts first; the Plus takes 2,400 W more than the bundle, which is its strongest point for off-grid use.
The specific dimensions that decide these two units — everything else is a tie.
Growth Path
Selected because: Recharge is the Plus's headline, and the solar ceilings, 5,600 W against 8,000 W, decide how fast either refills with the grid down.
solar input
Both grow. The Plus's ceiling is documented at six packs, 30,105.6 WhB8; the bundle's record says it expands but names no ceiling. The bigger difference is the funnel: the bundle takes 5,600 W of solar, the Plus 8,000 W across two 40 to 450 V inputsB4, and that gap doesn't change as either bank grows.
With 240 V available, the Plus has a charging rate we can't set beside the bundle's: up to 7,660 W through its AC IN/OUT portB15, a figure our record doesn't carry for the bundle. It's the Plus's best number, and it exists only while there's a 240 V supply to feed it.
Runtime: Will It Power Your Gear?
Selected because: Both deliver 7,200 W from battery, so stored energy separates them: 15,667 usable Wh against 4,265.
After the flat 15% conversion allowance, the bundle has 15,667 Wh to spend and the Plus has 4,265. With identical 7,200 W ceilings on battery, any load you can name lasts about 3.7 times as long on the bundle (15,667 ÷ 4,265), and no outlet rating changes that.
The Plus's reply is turnaround. Where the grid returns within a day, a pack that refills in under an hour can start every outage nearly full. Where the grid stays gone, the pack is what you have until the sun puts more back.
Your Life, Your Pick
Selected because: Our blackout and heavy-day loads show what one 5,017.6 Wh pack covers before it needs a refill.
Our 8-hour blackout load is 1,645 Wh, and the Plus finishes it with 39% of its usable energy gone, the bundle with 10%. Both are fine for a night, and a CPAP is a rounding error for either at 8% and 2%.
The 4,685 Wh day is the row to study. The Plus falls 420 Wh short, about 91% of the way, while the bundle finishes with 10,982 Wh left. That's a single Plus pack's practical limit, and it's precisely the day its fast refill can't help if the grid that would feed it is what's out.

Scoring these two at a campsite is a category error: neither travels — the DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries is 405.4 lbs and the TITAN 5000 Plus 121.3 lbs, and at those weights they roll off a truck bed if they go anywhere at all. The 2,100Wh here is trivial for either — it's the going that doesn't happen. If you need power away from the building, you're shopping the wrong class.

DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries
A CPAP is about 40W for eight hours, so both of these cover the night several times over — capacity isn't the question here, and the percentages are a formality. What matters is the box next to your pillow, and the only published difference is a rating: the DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries is rated 30dB against the TITAN 5000 Plus's 39dB. Each is the maker's own published rating, and the makers do not measure the same way, some quoting a best case and some a figure under load, so neither number describes a 40W draw and the two are not really comparable. Treat them as a reason to look for hands-on reports before either one goes next to a bed, not as a difference you can count on hearing.

Conclusion
October 4, 2026
Verdict: the EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries
Buy the DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries if you're buying for long outages. With the grid down, the Plus delivers the same 7,200 W from its battery as the bundleB1, carries 13,414.4 Wh less (18,432 minus 5,017.6), and refills from the sun at 8,000 W to the bundle's 5,600 W, quicker panels into a much smaller bank. Its 41.7 A outlet and 8 kW charging path are real, but the outlet's full rating needs solar or grid power flowing in and the charging path needs a live 240 V supplyB15. Take the Plus at $3,699 if your outages are short and frequent and the grid comes back between them, or if a 41.7 A circuit has to run through it with grid or solar power flowing in.

Each unit's star score is a category ranking, not customer reviews — no buyer opinions feed it. We score every station on size-independent quality (value, output, portability, endurance, ports, warranty, and more), then percentile-rank it against the other units in its capacity class, so a class-leading compact unit and a class-leading whole-home unit can both earn 5★. Here, DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries rates 3.8/5 (29th percentile of 29 Whole-Home / Off-Grid-class units), and TITAN 5000 Plus rates 4.7/5 (84th percentile of 20 Home Backup-class units).

Weight Reality Check
Neither unit is grab-and-go. The TITAN 5000 Plus (121.3 lbs) is a two-person lift. The DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries (405.4 lbs) is spread across its boxes — no single lift, but nothing you reposition on a whim. That's a 284 lb difference, and it is paid once — getting the heavier one into position, not every time you move it.
UPS Switchover: 0ms-rated vs ≤20ms
Both list a UPS mode, at different rated speeds. The DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries is rated 0ms — a no-break design on paper, which is the maker's classification rather than a stopwatch result. The TITAN 5000 Plus is rated ≤20ms — fine on paper for routers and most electronics; the fussiest PC power supplies sit right at this line. If a computer with unsaved work is the thing being protected, the stated class is worth the attention; nothing here is a lab result.
Warranty: 10 Years vs 5
The DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries is covered for 10 years against the TITAN 5000 Plus's 5 years. An underrated factor if you're keeping this unit for years.

Analyst note
The TITAN 5000 Plus has no published cycle rating, so its lifetime rows use the average of the 28 LiFePO4 units EcoFlow does rate: about 3,400 cycles. That's a fair baseline for the brand but not a rating for this unit, so cost to own isn't scored on it. Judge these two on price, capacity and warranty, and read the rows marked "est." as a ballpark.

Both expand, but the TITAN 5000 Plus's higher solar ceiling (8,000W vs 5,600W) gives it the stronger off-grid growth path — more panels can feed a bigger bank as it grows.
What Owners Report
Patterns from published owner reports and long-term reviews — every claim cited to its source below.
EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries
The strongest owner evidence is about running real houses. An owner with a two-battery setup runs most of their home on it, with no flicker at the switch through the home panelA14. Another found one battery covered the whole house for 4 to 5 hours at peak and a second battery doubled thatA13. A reviewer had central air, a refrigerator and a well pump running togetherA9, and another heard no fan at allA15.
The rough edges come mostly from one detailed forum owner: thin documentation and support that kept pointing back to the same web guideA2, a charge reading that dropped from 90% to 8%A6, and interference on 146.520 MHz that support suggested fixing with a Faraday cageA3A4. A tester measured idle drain that would empty a 6kWh battery in about 60 hoursA7, and one owner found the battery nearest the inverter running about 10 degrees warmerA11. Long-term reports on this exact bundle are thin, by our research's own accountA0.
“This means that without any grid or solar input, the system would fully drain its own 6kWh battery in about 60 hours. For off-grid use, this parasitic drain must be carefully factored into your energy budget.”
EcoFlow TITAN 5000 Plus
The evidence for the TITAN 5000 Plus so far is EcoFlow's own published ratings. EcoFlow's rating label lists a 10 kW total with 7,200 W for discharge onlyB1, 120/240 V split-phase at 41.7 AB2 through a 14-50-pattern outlet beside two 120 V 20 A socketsB3, and an AC IN/OUT port that charges at up to 7,660 WB15. The pack is 5,017.6 WhB7, expandable to 30,105.6 Wh across sixB8, with solar up to 8,000 W across two inputsB4.
“"Total Output: 10 kW Max (7200W for discharge only)" — the battery delivers 7,200 W, the same as the TITAN 5000; the 10 kW total includes grid pass-through.”

“X-Boost 2.0: up to 5 kW on each 120 V leg, so more 120 V appliances run together without load balancing (EcoFlow, Plus only).”

“X-Fusion 2.0: solar powers the home first, then charges TITAN for after dark; at peak rates TITAN runs the home on stored energy, and working with the grid through the main panel it can power loads beyond the backed-up circuits.”

Who Should Buy Which
Buy the DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries if you…
- →Anyone buying for outages measured in days, where 18,432 Wh of stored energy matters more than how fast the grid can refill you.
- →Off-grid setups that want the biggest bank to fill from panels: the bundle stores 13,414.4 Wh more, even though it takes 2,400 W less from them.
- →Households that want the whole house carried through an outage, not a short list of circuits.
Buy the TITAN 5000 Plus if you…
- →The house that loses power often but briefly, where the grid returns between outages and a sub-hour refill means every outage starts on a full pack.
- →Someone who needs a 41.7 A, 240 V circuit carried with grid or solar power flowing in and is content with 7,200 W from the battery behind it when the grid is down.
- →Buyers who want to start at one pack and $3,699, then grow toward 30,105.6 Wh.
- →You are on time-of-use rates and want automatic peak shaving: EcoFlow says X-Fusion 2.0 runs the home on stored energy at peak ratesB25, and its OASIS 3.0 scheduling is a subscription feature in the EcoFlow appB18.
If neither fits
If what you're protecting is a fridge, a router and some lights for an evening, neither of these is your category. Both are 240 V whole-home systems, and a 120 V station does that job for a fraction of the price.
The Bottom Line
Buy the DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries for long outages. With the grid down, the Plus's two signature numbers go quiet, and what's left is the same 7,200 W drawing on a much smaller tank.
Take the Plus if your outages are short and frequent and a sub-hour refill when the grid returns is worth more to you than depth, or if a 41.7 A circuit has to run through it. Otherwise, spend the $4,300 on the battery that's still going on day three.
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers drawn from the spec record and cited owner research.
Does the EcoFlow TITAN 5000 Plus really put out 10 kW?
Not from its battery. EcoFlow's label reads 10 kW total with 7,200 W for discharge only; the remainder is grid power passing through. On battery it delivers the same 7,200 W as the DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries.
How fast does the TITAN 5000 Plus recharge?
From a 240 V supply into its AC IN/OUT port, up to 7,660 W, which refills the 5,017.6 Wh pack in well under an hour; the 8 kW display reading is a charging figure too. From solar it takes up to 8,000 W, and its standard 120 V wall inlet is limited to 15 A.
Is the TITAN 5000 Plus better than the DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries for a long outage?
No. Both deliver 7,200 W from battery, but the DELTA Pro Ultra + 2 Batteries carries 18,432 Wh to the Plus's 5,017.6 Wh, though the Plus takes 8,000 W of solar to the bundle's 5,600 W. Over a multi-day outage, the bundle's extra stored energy counts for more than the Plus's faster panel refill.
What is the 41.7 A outlet on the TITAN 5000 Plus for?
It's a four-pin 14-50-pattern outlet marked 120V/240V 41.7A, meant for a big 240 V circuit. On battery alone, 7,200 W at 240 V works out to 30 A (7,200 ÷ 240), so the full 41.7 A is available only in bypass, with grid power passing through.
What does the TITAN 5000 Plus add beyond the spec sheet?
EcoFlow lists UL 9540 certification and UL 9540A testing, and sells the Plus with a factory pre-wired Smart Home Panel 10 that gives app control of 10 circuits. It also lists AC coupling with compatible existing rooftop solar, which needs that panel and a CT sensor. EcoFlow says X-Fusion 2.0 lets solar power the home first and the battery cover peak-rate hours, and X-Boost 2.0 gives the Plus up to 5 kW on each 120 V leg. OASIS 3.0, which learns household habits and forecasts solar up to 3 days ahead, is marked a subscription feature in the EcoFlow app.
