Solar panels for the BLUETTI AC70P
Written by Ian Schneider·Solar & Off-Grid Tester
BLUETTI has stopped selling the AC70P. Its own discontinued-models page lists it as out of stock, while the manual and the product page stay up, so this page is for the people who already have one. The solar socket is an XT60, which BLUETTI's spec table calls XT60PM-M, its name for the panel-mount male version. The window is 12 to 58 volts and 500 W.
Thirty-one of the forty-one panels we track publish an open-circuit voltage, the Voc on the back label, what a panel puts out with nothing connected. All thirty-one sit under 58, five of them BLUETTI's own. The socket's other limit is 10 amps. The panels reach that one first. No set we track reaches 500 W. Two of Renogy's 590 W rigid panels stop at 437 W.
Behind the socket is 864 Wh, a size one folding panel can keep up with. That pair of Renogy panels has it full in two hours of good sun. One 200 W folding panel gives about 144 W and needs about six hours, a day's worth. BLUETTI's own answer, in the product page FAQ, is one PV350 or two PV200s, and both are on the list further down. For a weekend at the cabin I'd take one folding panel and give it Saturday.

Every panel we track, lined up at the AC70P's solar input
Every panel we track with a published Voc, in a line by that voltage, the open-circuit figure from the label. The black line is 58 V, the AC70P's ceiling. Every bar stops short of it.
The pale cap on each bar is what a −10 °C morning adds, about 10%. Cold pushes a panel's voltage up rather than down. The tallest panel here, Renogy's 590 W rigid, reads 52.63 V on the label, and with the cap on it still sits under the line. Under, by less than I'd like. On my deck in January that is the one panel I'd meter before the plug went in.
Hover a bar and it gives up its name. If your panel isn't on the chart, type its Voc in the box below and the chart makes room for it.
Swipe sideways for the whole line-up.
Hover or tap a bar for the panel’s name and its verdict.

What we'd buy
The best solar panel for the AC70P
Picked by the numbers on this station, not by brand.
Best value

About $1.43 for every watt it actually delivers here. 2 panels deliver 251 W.
Best to carry

144 W from a 8.82 lb panel, the most delivered watts per pound.
A day on solar
How long the AC70P takes to charge on solar
The strip is a day of sun with a tick at the hour the battery is full. With the input at its full 500 W the tick would land a little under two hours in. Nothing we track gets it there. The pair of Renogy 590 W rigid panels that comes closest puts the tick at two hours, so the 10 amp limit costs very little here.
More likely you own a folding panel. One 200 W panel gives about 144 W in real sun and needs about six hours. One 100 W panel gives about 72 W and needs about twelve. A good day has 3 to 6 hours of sun that strong, so the 200 W panel is a day's work and the 100 W panel runs into the next one. The system builder turns those hours into days for your state and your month.
Hours of good sun, from empty. Where you live and the month decide how many of those a day gives; the system builder works it out.
Every panel that fits
Solar panels compatible with the AC70P
Thirty-one fit, five of them BLUETTI's own. For each: the lead that reaches the XT60 socket, what one panel gives in good sun, and the most the AC70P takes from a set before the 10 amp limit calls time. The box holds a Solar Charging Cable, and the box list never says which plug is on its panel end. The lead column below does. Eleven want MC4-to-XT60, MC4 being the weatherproof snap-together pair on the back of most panels. EcoFlow's 125 W modular rigid plugs in with no lead at all. Sorted by delivered watts.

Own a panel that isn't in the line-up?
Type its voltage into the door chart above for the height test, then put the rest of the label into the panel checker, already set to the AC70P, for current and plug too. Or build the whole system to see how it keeps up where you live.
The plain answers
How long does the AC70P take to charge on solar?
One 100 W panel delivers about 72 W in good sun and refills the 864 Wh battery from empty in about 12 hours.
One 200 W panel delivers about 144 W in good sun and refills the 864 Wh battery from empty in about 6 hours.
At its 500 W solar limit it refills in about 1.7 hours. More panel watts than that won't charge it any faster.
A day gives three to six hours of sun that good, depending on season and place, so one 100 W panel takes 2 to 4 days to fill it. The system builder works it out for your state and month.
What adapter does the AC70P need for solar?
None, if the panel's plug is XT60: EcoFlow 125W Bifacial Modular plugs straight in.
The cables the other panels need: MC4 to XT60 (11 panels), DC8020 to XT60 (4 panels), Anderson to XT60 (3 panels) and DC5521 to XT60 (2 panels).
10 panels don't have a named plug from their maker, so check the lead before you buy a cable.
Can you use non-BLUETTI solar panels with the AC70P?
Yes. What decides it is the panel's voltage and plug, not the brand. 26 panels from Renogy, Jackery, Anker SOLIX, EcoFlow, Eco-Worthy and Rich Solar work with it, as long as the panel stays under 58 V on a cold morning and starts above 12 V.
The strongest single panels here are the Renogy 590W N-Type Bifacial (425 W delivered) and the Jackery SolarSaga 500 X (360 W delivered).
Can you connect two solar panels to the AC70P?
Yes, joined into one input with a series or parallel cable.
Don't wire two BLUETTI PV100 FX Flexible panels in series: together they would pass its 58 V limit. Parallel them instead.
Past 500 W delivered, more panels only help on cloudy days.
What is the AC70P's solar input?
DC Input (XT60PM-M): 12–58 V, up to 10 A, 500 W.
Input limits from BLUETTI's documents, checked 2026-09-18 (source). Delivered watts assume 72% of the panel's rating in good sun.
